This week there are no World Cup Qualification games. As agreed during the first days of my term as NT coach, Indonesia plays Ecuador this weekend.
After the 8-0 victory over VietNam, we should grab the victory again.
Ecuador is ranked on the one-above-last place, but don't let that you mislead you. Their players are more or less the same quality stuff like Indonesian players or maybe even better (look at the value of their offensive mids). The victory will be taken on tactical level. If we are up enough goals after a certain time, I might bring on some young players, to give them experience. But main goal is still the victory.
Btw don't hesitate to ask things about the tactic, player choice of the last games. I'll always try to answer as good as possible.

btw, is the color of the shirts/shorts of the NT in sokker right? (I can pick any color combination, but I think yudiray allready created the right color combination, but I want to be sure.)

Short review:
Ecuador has always played the same tactic with 1 striker and very defensively. So I played with only 3 defenders. Great was the shock to see they started tonight with 2 attackes as those would play right between our 3 wide defenders. Even worse was the fact that he fielded faster and more technical players than the attacker he usually fields. Well, nothing could be done anymore and all I could do was hope for the best. After the first half it was still 0-0. Both teams had some chances and Krisjianto missed a penalty (hit the crossbar). During the 2nd half, Suheri missed another penalty, but after 84 minutes he had scored at least a goal and given a perfect pass to Krisjianto who finished the nice attack. As sheduled, I replaced the striker in lowest form (Suheri) after we were up 2 goals (starting from minute 80). So after his assist and the 0-2 Suheri was replaced by the best 17 year old striker who was allowed to play some minutes. Nothing happened, and the match ended 0-2.
Nice moments of the match:
- 0:2 was a nice attack, looks a bit like the 0:7 of the previous game.
- the frontal dribble of 2 defenders of Ecuador by Krisjanto.
