langhe to All
As I'll be gone, I'll post my speech and then delete it. A mod will make it visible again when elections start.
I'll answer your questions as soon as I can (Sunday february 10th)

@ mod: dont forget to delete the spaces before the slashes so that layout becomes ok again ;)

Langhe speech:

Speech

About myself - personal
My name is Stijn De Langhe (that's where i derived my nick 'langhe' from). I am a 20 year old man, living in Belgium. During the week I study in Brussels (Europe's capital) and during weekends, I return home to Bruges. As i said, I'm a student, and I study Bio - engineering (3rd year).
My hobbies are watching (and playing with friends) soccer and rugby. I also love reading, playing games on my PC and going out with my friends. And of course I like playing Sokker ;)

About myself - Sokker related
I am the manager of a team called 'langhes' which I created back in 2004. I started playing in 5th division. click here to see my history Last (current) season was my best so far. I finished on 3rd place in the hardest 2nd divisison (according to the stats).
Next to my Sokker carreer, I'm also Moderator on Sokker. So I spend quite some time on this game.
Last season I candidated in Indonesia for the first time, as tove was in hospital and unable to continue his job. I’m still thankful for the chance you gave me by electing me.

Experience
This brings me to my experience with National Teams. Chronologically I have following experience:
- Scout for Belgian NT (when Pauwel and Maqoma were coach)
- Help I gave tove (ex-NT-coach of this country)
- Last season I was NT-coach myself of your country.

Why Indonesia
See previous paragraph.
Briefly: it all started with tove and of course the election last time.

Language problem
Yes, a serious matter. I do not speak, nor understand your language. That is why I need a staff. tove understands your language a bit, so that is already a help. For the little translations (concerning new teams) some Indonesian managers helped me.

Goals/objectives from last season achieved? + New goals
This is what I promised:
I won't promise you the World Cup. I tend to be realistic. But I think Indonesia could be ranked higher. The key is tactics. I learned creating tactics from Hellsangel (previous NT coach of Belgium and Nederland, coached Belgium to WC final). It's thanks to him that I'm able to have nice results last season. I think a spot around rank 60 would be possible within some seasons.
Another of my goals is to attract more people from your country to their National Team, but I'll need your help for this. I have some ideas (they worked in Belgium as well).
When I look now at what I have achieved:
- concerning ranking: started as rank 81, moved up to 62 and last week (we started as number 4 in the WCQ, so we had to play a heavy opponent on the last day) we dropped to spot 67 again. But we made progress with a very young team. I think we should get that nr 62 spot at the end of next season again!
- concerning more people I failed. That is why this season I want to change focus to giving experience to Indonesian users. I already started by helping tove at the newbieforum. Also, I tried to keep track of the new registered managers (being mod has advantages!) and sent them welcoming messages. I plan on doing some sk mail spamming with clear explanations about youth school, tactics, training, …
At last, I think an Indonesian manager as NT coach would improve the connection between the community and the national team. So, I’d like to know who of you wants to become NT coach of Indonesia in some seasons. This person will be part of the staff (if I get elected of course) and will thereby learn lots about player selection, tactics, …

Strong points
At the end I want to rehearse my strong points:
- time
- experience
- knowing the players already as I was NT coach last season
- active on International Forums

Strong performances with NT last season
Best win: 8-0 (viet nam)
Worst loss: 7-0 (uruguay, due to wrong tactic // Chile)
Remarcable: we scored against France and kept uruguay to 0-3 (even 0-0 at half time and 0-1 after 80 minutes)
