Subject: World Cup Qualifications
This week we face Brasil once again. Preparations are not going well. Both Kartiko and Kabagaimu (2 key players) are injured for the last 2 WCQ games.
On the other hand, we have our first divine defender, but he is too slow to play already.

Rating 50 vs rating 68.
So why not try something weird. I tried 2 strikers on the same wing and 1 on the other, moving to the centre. We kept the game to 0-0 for 40 minutes. Then we got 0-1 behind. 2 minutes later Iswantoro is tackled on a wrong way inside the penalty area! Chance for Indonesia to draw level again. Alas, Iswantor misses both the penalty and the rebound. Just before half time Brasil finish us off with a 2nd goal. During the 2nd half, we had stamina problems. 2 were helped by substituting, but we couldnt make a fist anymore. 5-0 as a final result. Not too bad, but still a bit disappointed we didnt score that damn penalty

Tomorrow the last game of the WCQ. This one will decide if we end as 5th or 6th (last) in the group. As in the first game we face Andorra. The first game ended on 1-1, which is a little surprise and disappointment for you and for me and my staff. Unless what you might think, Andorra isnt the weak nation anymore it was some seasons ago. Their only weakness is their attack. Their defense is as good, or even better as ours. Yet, I'll not do stupid things like playing very offensively. I've chosen for a quite defensive line up, BUT which should create pressure for us, and then let us hope some shots or headers hit the back of the Andorra goal.
Suheri is finally getting back some form and will start, as Tagor lost some form. The main problem is the Indonesian midfield. Mahuse is injured, Kartiko has a slight injury left, but will play 30 minutes (I agreed this with his manager) as he is the only midfielder with a decent pass and some technique. And Kabagaimu will also miss this game due to injury.
This is the line up:
1 Aris Laksono
2 Komar Natakusuma
3 Jusuf Danubrata
4 Ucup Burhanuddin
5 Indra Hendro
6 Gunawan Sukowiyono
7 Susilo Suheri
8 Dono Sujianto
9 Aceng Arismunandar
10 Guntur Wahyudi
11 Iswadi Iswantoro
12 Kurnia Subarkah
13 Amir Buwono
14 Billy Darma
15 Susilo Tagor
16 Dani Kartiko
Kartiko, Darma and Tagor will drop in during 2nd half.

You should punish him! Divine form and miss all those chances :s
Andorra had 0, they scored from a penalty and had one shot from around the central point of the field :s

1-1.. dissapointing result, we deserved a victory. 1 goal out of 8 chances, not quite impressive imo. This ain't the first match we lose points on such a stupid way. Although nice performance this WCQ of Indonesia sometimes!
what we really lack are decent midfielders.
There are no wingers in the NT that are ready to play on NT level. (passing is never above formidable ...)
There are few defensive midfielders (current ones are actually defenders with some passing and pm/tech, except for Kabagaimu
There is only 1 decent midfielder for the central spot, and that is Kartiko, though he should get pace. There are some other playes like Sukowyono who have enough pm/passing, but they are slow or untechnical. To give an idea: Arismunandar (played left central midfielder today) has very good pm and excellent passing... But he is the only one with enough defending to play on that spot.
Strikers will be ok in the future when Iswantoro gets striker training and Tagor gets more technique. Krisdjianto is also promising and for the far future we have Parengkuan. Defenders arent superb but there are enough to tackle most of the NT strikers frontal. A few nice coming up (Mardiansyah, ...) as well. And with Laksono Indonesia has a great keeper, and Subarkah will become one as well if he will be kept training. Of course 2 other ones would be nice as well ...

the good news is Metro and dunadan will train midfield, the bad news is they don't train Indonesia midfield yet :p
i'm quite sure that there're more than just 2 manager in indonesia though ;)
there are 8 managers in Ligina, then 32 managers in div 1 and some more in div 2 so it's not just metro or dunadan :p

but not all of them have a youth school or trainer staff. Anyway, that is work for next season I think :)
