amazing work, coach, congrats. to win after a red card in the very beginning of the game, against Sverige... have no words
Tomorrow 12:00 sk-time the clash against Srbija, if you are interested :) We are clearly the underdog this time - especially with Geroyan and Takvonyan missing. Still hoping for a good result though. A win or a draw and we have chances to even win the group!
Srbija - Hayastan 1:0
Unlucky result. We were certainly not worse, maybe even slightly better in this match. Kalenyan had some fine chances. Two strong headers and two 1on1s. Sadly the Serbian goalkeeper kept him out. Right after one of the chances we conceded a silly goal after a defender lost the ball.
Well, first defeat in the qualifiers. Can't complain although I think we deserved more than 1 point from the two games against Srbija. The circle closes with the second match against Andorra, hopefully with a positive result again.

Thanks a lot :) Somewhat unexpectedly we still took the first place from Srbija, thanks to their defeat against Sverige.
The circle of the WCQ closes: the last match brought a 6-0 against Andorra again. Early red card for them was surely in our favour, but I think we had them under control most of the time anyway. I didn't have much preparation time, so tactic was not ideal. Still it didn't work too badly. A bit too many longshots, but luckily some of them did indeed go in.
Now it's WC preparation time, preferably with some U27 games. Next match is against Schweiz.

Interesting group :) Suomi is the absolute topshot and favourite, with marks beyond 80. Österreich is probably a bit better and of course I know their experienced Swiss coach Marcodona well. Can't say too much about Colombia.. though they're certainly not worse than us either and regular WC-participants. Tough battles ahead!
