Interesting group :) Suomi is the absolute topshot and favourite, with marks beyond 80. Österreich is probably a bit better and of course I know their experienced Swiss coach Marcodona well. Can't say too much about Colombia.. though they're certainly not worse than us either and regular WC-participants. Tough battles ahead!

After a clear defeat last week against the top shot Italia, some good stuff today against England. Wanted to test two different tactics. First half it worked out well, resulting in a 2-0 lead. Second tactic wasn't really great, but we managed to bring the victory home. Our U27 is pretty decent - the midfield is almost world class. And today there were even Izanyan and Grigorian missing. Now another U27 game against Bulgaria before the World Cup starts!

Tomorrow 11:00 sk-time our World Cup adventure starts against Suomi. We take the role of the heavy underdog, but who knows :) Keep your fingers crossed!
Thansk.. Incredible! And the whole thing with Mahakyan in MID ans Kerestejyan as DEF because I didn't realise the first tactic had different player numbers! :) Another improvement will be necessary to stand against Austria.. they played a strong match against Colombia.
Ouch, I just saw Geroyan and Sarkis Malkhasyan injured.. that hurts! :(

A cruel loss against Austria today :( We controlled the match well enough and had a couple of great 1vs1 chances. Instead Austria scores on their only real chance in the first 65 minutes. After the tactic switch to 4-3-3, we got the equalizer, but the opponents wing also much more space. Even then, losing was not necessary with Austria netting a 16m header like in the good old days and Hovivyan wasting another great chance in the final minutes.
Now against Colombia, we have to win by a 3-goal-margin to advance for sure, otherwise we have to rely on Austria. A difficult task, as we lost our strikers Telunts and Shalunts on top of our defeat today.. But whatever - it's all or nothing now. Wish us luck for the decisive showdown!
