The problem is getting people to confide the skills of their players. As the database I'm using was not used for several seasons, skills are not trustworthy anymore.
I wrote most users based on a list on sk international forum where all players of a country are listed (ranked them by value). Some have not read it, others have but didn't answer.
So line up is based on the values/rating (to estimate skills) of players which were in the NT selection, as well as received skills.
It's a pretty small pool, quite some old players, but we can definitely improve the results (as shown today). I'm especially happy with the center midfield options with players as Felice, Barbara and Pullicino Orland (well, after Vascotto years ago, this is my own Maltese center mid trainee) :)

We conceded our first goal of the season. A 3-1 victory over Republica Dominicana in the first game of the mini world cup. We dominated the game from start till finish, but were unfortunate in winning headers. Maybe the injuries of 2 of our best 3 strikers were involved ...
We slowly keep winning ranking points.
Next match is against Scotland which is a team that is ranked much higher and as it looks also a bit better than us. Probably going to be one of the harder matches of the season :) (Depending on how far we get in the MWC of course).

It was close, we almost had an epic comeback but from 0-3 down we fought back to 2-3.
