Subject: [NT] Temporada 36 - Official Post

Hi my friends!
Here I am, starting talking about our NT!
This season will be really important to create the basis for next WCQ. We got the right difference between young players (now 25-26-27yo) and experienced players (30-31-32yo).
I'm trying to know the skills of every player, and I hope to finish this work really soon!

Now, before talking about first friendly of the season, I want to thank you about voting me!

We played against India, that is 20th position higher than us on ranking. They are stronger than us, you can see it also from difference in average rating (66,9 vs 75,1).
We lose 1-0, but I'm really proud about the match. We shooted more than India, 7-6, and we take 5 crossbar and 1 pole!!!! It was really, really, really, incredible :)

First half we played good but their wing was really difficult to stop, so India has much possession of the ball and create some problems.
In the second half, I change tactic, changing to a 5def tactics, and we did a great half. We miss only one thing: goal :(

However, I'm happy about the match. We played on par with India, this is good :)

Next match we will play against Latvija, another really stronger NT.

I know is really difficult and that a draw could be nice, but I will do the best to try to win!

Here I am talking about last friendly match, that we played against Latvija. Before the match, Latvija was 40 positions higher on ranking (now something less because we gained 2 positions, from 77th to 75th ;))
As you can see watching the match, Latvija is really stronger than us, but we did a pretty good match! Now let's talk about it!

Honduras-Latvija=3-3
Great match of our team, that draws with a team stronger than us. You can see the difference from average points (64.8 to 75.6 = 10.8). We were in the lead two times, 2-0 and 3-1, but when they changed att, they scored two times.
We had some problems with formation, because Canadas was injuried, we had only one att with good form, and our best mid, Huete and Kafati, are not with good form.
I knew that Latvija played with a wing and 2 att, so I prepared a tactic with 5 def, that can double both wing and atts. Well, this tactic worked really good.
I have to say that we were lucky, because Latvija shooted more than us, but if you see the match, you will see that they had more occasions only because they have stronger players: for example, a lot of occasions came after 2 or 3 dribblings of their wing and att. If a player can dribble 3 players, there is nothing that you can do with tactic :P
What about our 3 goals?
I think we did a really good job! First goal with a lob over their def to our att that scored in 1vs1, second goal with a beautiful through ball of 50 metres, and third goal with another nice through ball!
I'm really proud about how we played :)

Next match, we will play against Nippon, that is a good team, like us.

I hope to bring the first win in this season :)

It looked like a very well set up game, and against a much better team in paper like Latvia, it looks promising. Good luck against Japan.

We played against Japan, lower than us on ranking (75th to 78th) but a little stronger in average valutations (2 points). We had some problems with formations, because Ventura had a red card, and Canadas was injuried. Huete and Kafati were not with high form.
Well, we did another great match! We won 4-2, playing really good and doing more shots on target (16 to 7).
I prepared a tactic with 5 def, 2 central mid and a wing, because I've seen how Japan played, and I thought that this was the best way to play. I was scared about playing with only Maas and Huete in the middle, but I tryed :-)
However, I was right and I'm happy about our win :-)

Next match we play Makedonija, another really stronger team (more than 10 points of average valutations)..

Hi my friends!
Sorry if I write only today about our last match, but I'm in holidays and I hadn't a lot of time to write :-)
As you can see in the link of the match with makedonjia, they won 2-1.
What can I say?
Makedonjia is a good team, better than us for ranking and players, but during the match no one saw the difference. We played better (they were 4 points better than us in average mark), and we created more occasions of goal (12-7). When we were 1-0, we failed 2 1vs1 and a penalty in the same minut, incredible.. After that, they scored two goals because our defenders did not good things with the ball on their foot ;-)

I'm happy about the match, one more time in this season we demonstrate that, also if we had a team under 70 of average mark, we can play good match with everyone! :-)

Next match we will play with Mist, I hope to write about a win in next post :-)

Last match we played against Misr. We were stronger, 8 points more in average value, and we saw this during the match.
We won 6-0, playing a really good match, with nice occasions of goal.
There is nothing to say about this match, I think it was nothing more than a friendly, but this match helped me to see if our players did the movements I want them to do :)

Next match we will play against Nicaragua, a Central America's Derby :)
It's a match with a team like our, I hope to bring the victory for our community.
A derby is always a derby :P

I'm here talking to you about our last match, played against Nicaragua! It was a derby, and I wanted to win it, but as you can see from the link, we draw, 1-1.

Let's talk about the match!
We played with 5-2-1-2, similar to their tactics. We played better than Nicaragua, with a lot of shots more than their: 11-2. We didn't suffer their attacks, but they scored the 50% of their occasions :(
By the way, we were not lucky, and we scored only one goal.

If I have to say the truth, I'm not happy about how we played: we hadn't two players really important for us, Canadas (injuried) and Huete (really low form), and I put in formation Montoya and Maas.
I thought that they could play better, but they played really bad :(
Last match where he played, Maas did a great performance, but this time he didn't :(

Next match we will play against Island, a NT better than us but not a lot. I hope to bring a win, but I know will be difficult ^^

I feel it wasn't really necessary to go with 5 at the back against them since they're a bit weaker on paper, and yeah it looked like a case of sokker's RNG doing its thing. Good luck for the next match

Yes, I understand your opinion, and I wanted to play with another tactic because we where a little stronger than Nicaragua. I wanted to try with 4 def and 3 mid, but I can't because Huete was tragic in form, and we haven't a lot of strong mids.
So, I decide to play with the last tactic with 5 def, where Benedit and Elias can help mids. I think that this tactic is really good for our players, and we played really good match with it :)

Last match we played against Island, a good NT managed by a good italian manager, Red3x. Island is a NT a little stronger than us, but with some really good players that can put in trouble every NT.
I thought a lot about what was the right tactic to play against, I was scared about his tactic with 2 wings. Probably, the best way to not suffer was playing with 5 defs, but I've seen that he plays with only 2 central mids. So, I decided to dare: 4 def, 3 mid, one wing and 2 strikers.
We had mids with low form, but I wanted to try.

Well, after first 30 minuts where Island put in trouble our defenders with their 2 wings, we played a really good match, with some good opportunities and with 2 1vs1 where our striker didn't shot O_O
From 30° to 90° he shotted only one time, at 90°!

I'm happy about our match and how we played, I think it's the umpteenth time that we play better than our rival, often stronger than us.
Another important thing, is that I'm playing with players that next season will play WCQ, trying to give them more experience that I can!

I hope you like how I'm managing NT.

Next match we play with Iran, it will be a match against a rival like us. We will see :)

Good gaming plan against Iceland, they were stronger on paper and a more than positive result was achieved. You have made a good job with the NT, pretty good results against our rivals (barring the Nicaragua match), only thing i wish is that there was a more direct approach to the managers here to update you on the NT players. Other than that keep up the good work

About NT players, don't worry because I'm keeping on eye every player that can be good for us :-)

Now, I have to talk about our last match, with Iran. We lose 2-1, and I'm not happy about that because we deserve to win, but I did also wrong choices.

First of all, I want to let you know my choices, because if you see the main page of the match, you could think that I played all the match with last tactic.
As you can see watching the match, we started with tactic that do really good work against Iceland.
I studied how Iran plays, and what could be the troubles that I can find during the match: they have a good wing, and they turn the ball in a good way. So I thought:"Ok, let's start with last tactic with 4 def, and if we would not be winning at the minut 65, this must be because their wing is doing good work and put us in trouble. So I have to change tactic with the one with 5 def and high defence, to press their players and defend better on their wing".

Well, at the minut 65 we were not winning the match, but not for the reason I've explained :(

With the first tactic we played a really good match, we create some 1vs1 with their GK, and we didn't suffer in any way their tactic.
We scored 1-0 with a nice played of Lujan, and we create a lot of occasions to score other goals.
After some our occasions, they scored at the first shot: our def of the right side, pass the ball in the middle to their Att, that did 1vs1 with our GK and scored. Incredible. I thought that was impossible, but this was. Our def pass the ball to their att.
After that, a nice trough ball let our att go in 1vs1 with their gk: foul of the def, and penalty. Lujan shot but their GK keep the ball.

In the second half, we go on with nice plays and we had other occasions, and ANOTHER PENALTY: Lujan shot and their GK keep the ball again. 2 penalties and 0 goals: incredible.
At minut 65, as I wrote, tactic changes because we were not winning, but only because our players didn't want to score :(
At minut 69, another incredible thing: our mid passed the ball, AGAIN, to their att, that was 30 metres behind our defence O_O he did 1vs1 with our GK and scored 2-1.

After that, we had other 2 really good occasions to score, but also this time our att didn't do any goal.
So, we lose 2-1.

I'm sorry about this result, I wanted to win but it didn't happen.

Next match we will play agains Saudi Arabia, last match before Copa America.

This was the last match before Copa America, and I can say we played a good preparation match with Saudi Arabia.
We had a lot of occasions to score (16 shots) and we scored 4 goals. But most of all, we played a really good sokker ;)
I think that there is nothing more to say about this match, so let's talk about next Copa America.

We are in group D, with Mexico, Bolivia and Venezuela.
We were not lucky with draw, because every opponent is really stronger than us (I think more than 8 points of average skills).
I think that if we will arrive 3rd in our group, would be an incredible thing. If we arrive 2nd, I think that my neighbors will call the police because I will do a party in my house :P
Well, first match is against Venezuela.
It is trained by a really good polish manager, and I studied his way to play.
I had an idea about how I can play, but I can't do because we haven't all players with good form.
So I decided for another way.
They are really strong, so we have to hope all will go right :P
