SOM-HI! Com podeu veure, avui hem completat el primer desplegament important de nous elements a Sokker. I n’hi ha molts alhora.

Nou disseny

Navegació i dos Skins*:
1. Hi ha nova navegació i disseny de pàgina. Els plafons laterals i superiors, dissenyats des de zero, són els primers elements nous de la nova disposició Sokker. Tot seguit es desenvoluparà el nou disseny (desplegant el disseny nou pàgina a pàgina);
2. Altres elements (pàgines concretes) s'han ajustat segons el color, de manera que sembla coherent a tot arreu. Tot i que encara no és el disseny final, només és un ajust temporal del contingut antic del lloc als nous elements de navegació;
3. Ara hi ha dos temes o aparences: clar i fosc, podeu canviar-los a la configuració;
4. D'acord amb els anuncis, estem treballant en un tema inspirat en el vell clàssic de Sokker.


Canvis a la navegació

Alguns elements han canviat de lloc; ens hi haurem d'acostumar. A continuació es mostra una breu llista d’aquests canvis:
1. La pestanya ECONOMIA: ara és a l’OFICINA.
2. La pestanya JUGADORS: és a CLUB (l'enllaç directe ara s'anomena TEAM*, que encaixa millor a la seva nova funció). La pàgina del club estarà disponible fent clic al logotip o al nom de l'equip. Tots els noms i descripcions es desplegaran en anglès i es traduiran als idiomes locals poc després.
3. Hi ha un canvi de lloc d’alguns elements: el plafó esquerre només contindrà aquells elements que estiguin directament connectats amb la direcció del nostre club (i SN) (i la pestanya FÒRUM), mentre que el plafó superior contindrà pestanyes "addicionals", com ara Món, País, Cerca, Regles o Configuració;
4. També es mostraran les notificacions i el correu a la part superior, que ara tindran icones separades. També s’hi mostrarà el nombre d'elements nous.


Visualització de partits 3D

Al mateix temps, implementem una nova visualització de partits en 3D. Al final, la versió 3D només estarà disponible per als usuaris de PLUS, però de moment, estarà oberta a tothom durant la fase de proves. La versió 2D no desapareix: serà una alternativa accessible a tothom.

IMPORTANT: és una versió de prova. Vol dir que pot haver-hi (i de ben segur que n’hi haurà) alguns errors; us preguem que els informeu en els fòrums pertinents. No hem aconseguit solucionar alguns elements com per exemple, la visualització dels espectadors; per tant, encara no seran visibles.
La interfície de visualització actual (menú de visualització) també és temporal; actualment estem treballant en el disseny dels partits, que haurien de conservar-se com a retransmissió de partits en directe, amb prèvies completes, animacions, etc.


Per acabar algunes correccions que també s’han fet:
1. La regla de les 4 setmanes no és vigent per als traspassos cancel·lats pels administradors.
2. El marcador en la vista 2D s’ha desplaçat a dalt (ja que de vegades estava amagat a causa de la configuració de resolució d'alguns navegadors);
3. Torna a haver-hi una icona de pilota sobre el golejador quan marca.

Dev. Diary 43: New navigation & 3D visualization!

LET'S GO! As you can see, today we completed the first major deployment of new elements on Sokker. And there is a lot of them at once!

New design

Navigation & two skins:
1. There is new navigation and page layout. Side and top panels, which have been designed from the scratch, are the first new elements of the new Sokker layout. New design will be developed further (deploying new layout page by page);
2. Other elements (particular pages) have been adjusted color-wise, so it looks consistent everywhere. However it’s not the final layout yet, it’s only a temporary adjustment of old content of the site to the new navigation elements;
3. There are two skins for now – light and dark, you can change them in the settings;
4. In accordance to the announcements, we are working on a skin inspired by old Sokker classic.


Navigation changes

Few elements changed their place, which we’ll have to get used to. Below is a short list of those changes:
1. FINANCE tab – it’s now under the OFFICE;
2. PLAYERS tab – it’s under the CLUB page (direct link is currently named TEAM, which will better suit its new function). The club page will be available by clicking on logo or team name. All names and descriptions are deployed in English and will be translated to local languages shortly after;
3. There is change of place of few elements – the left panel will contain only those elements that are directly connected to our club (and NT) management (and the FORUM tab), whereas the top panel will contain „additional” tabs, like World, Country, Search, Rules or Settings;
4. Also notifications and mail will be displayed on the top, which have different icons now. Number of awaiting „items” will also be displayed there.


3D match visualization

At the same time we deploy new 3D match visualization. Ultimately 3D version will be available only for PLUS users. For now it stays open for everyone for the test phase. 2D version is not gone – it’ll be an alternative, available for everyone.

IMPORTANT: it’s a test version. It means that there may be (and surely will) some bugs – we kindly ask to report them in proper forums. We haven’t managed to fix some elements, e.g. displaying of spectators – therefore they won’t be visible yet.
Current visualization interface (visualization menu) is also temporary – currently we’re working on design of matches, which should be kept as live match broadcast, with full match intro, animations, etc.


In the end, some fixes, which were done as well:
1. Rule of 4 weeks is not in effect for transfers cancelled by admins;
2. The score board for 2D visualization is moved to top (since it was sometimes hidden because of resolution setting for some browsers);
3. Again there will be ball icon over the goalscorer!

Dev. Diary 44: Darreres Correccions

A continuació trobareu la llista de correccions menors i majors que s'han fet:
1. Tema Clar*: el fons blanc s’ha canviat per un altre de més fosc, de manera que és més agradable de veure.
2. Canvi de tipus de lletra: hem establert una mida de lletra més gran per defecte, així el fòrum i altres elements són més llegibles. En alguns llocs trenca el disseny (per exemple, triar l’ordre de joc d'un jugador al fer l’alineació del partit), però és el primer que solucionarem;
3. Taules de classificació: hem canviat l'esquema de colors (especialment el contrast en el tema fosc*);
4. El color de les millores: les millores d’habilitats dels jugadors es distingeixen amb un color verd clar al tema fosc (de nou, qüestió de contrast);
5. Mòbil: s’ha solucionat la retallada d'elements: és possible desplaçar-se cap a l'esquerra i cap a la dreta (per exemple, taules);
6. Menú esquerre: l’hem incrustat permanentment (ara ja no cal desplaçar-se per veure el contingut sencer de la pàgina; per exemple, per veure el rellotge).

Dev. Diary 44 - Latest fixes

Below you can find the list of minor and major fixes which have been done:
1. Light skin - white background changed for a little darker one, so it would be more pleasant to look at;
2. Font change - bigger font size was set as default, which made the forum and other elements more readable. In few places it breaks the layout (e.g. choosing the position of a player in match settings view), but it's the first thing to fix;
3. League tables - the colour scheme was changed (especially the contrast for the dark skin);
4. The colour of pops - pops of player skills are distinguished with light green colour in the dark skin (again, a matter of contrast);
5. Mobile - trimming of elements was fixed - it's possible to scroll left and right (e.g. tables);
6. Left menu - it was embedded permanently (it's no longer necessary to scroll down whole page content to see the clock, for example).

Avui hi ha notícies amb poques paraules però plenes no només de visualitzacions sinó també de pantalles (desenvolupades) realistes . Canvis més importants:
- presentació prèvia del partit (resum de la forma de l’equip, classificació actual, estrelles de l’equip),
- tauler de configuració del partit (opcions de partit, càmera, velocitat, repeticions),
- marcador i resum de les millors jugades i estadístiques del partit,
- cronologia amb la possibilitat d’anar a l’esdeveniment del partit que trieu.

Som a punt de començar a treballar en el registre automàtic a Sokker. Actualment és un procés manual i per això els usuaris sovint han d’esperar fins i tot uns dies per a la confirmació de l’equip i el desbloqueig de totes les opcions. És molt complicat en comparació amb altres jocs en línia, on en la majoria dels casos la creació d’un compte permet l’inici immediat del joc. Ens agradaria un procés similar a Sokker. Hi haurà un registre automàtic dels equips que n’assignarà un immediatament durant la creació d’un compte, si no hi ha contraindicacions (per exemple, connectat amb un número d’IP duplicat). El desenvolupament durarà unes poques setmanes. El final previst dels treballs serà aproximadament a l’abril / maig.

Dev. Diary 47: Automatic registration

We are right about to start working on automatic registration in Sokker. Currently this is a manual process, and because of that users often have to wait even few days for the confirmation of the team and the unlocking all options. It's highly complicated compared to other online games, where in most cases creating an account enables immediate start of the game. We'd like a similar process on Sokker. There will be an automat registering the teams, which will be assigned immediately during creating an account, if there are no contraindications (e.g. connected with duplicated IP number). Development will last few weeks. Planned end of works will take place about April/May.

Dev. Diary 48: La nova pestanya de Finances: Projecte UX

Juntament amb el procés de desenvolupament actual, estem preparant noves propostes per a algunes pàgines i innovacions. El nou projecte de la pestanya de finances està gairebé acabat, de manera que podeu veure la nostra proposta mitjançant l'enllaç següent. La nova pestanya serà molt més detallada i us permetrà controlar les finances del vostre club des de diverses perspectives. Avui l’important és que ja podeu veure la pàgina general de finances. Aquesta serà la pàgina principal per a la revisió de les finances, però, com podeu veure a la part superior de la pàgina, també hi haurà la opció de comprovar pestanyes més detallades, com ara informes dedicats als ingressos i despeses. Això us permetrà comparar els salaris de jugadors i entrenadors, fer un seguiment dels ingressos de les recaptacions dividits per tipus de partit, etc.

Al projecte presentat podeu trobar algunes funcions noves, com ara:
1. Les finances del club es divideixen en una part operativa i una part específica de traspassos.
2. Informes de diferents períodes de temps, començant pels setmanals, finalitzant amb una visió general de la temporada o fins i tot amb comparatives de la temporada anterior.
3. Podreu comparar les temporades.
4. Prediccions de temporada basades en la mitjana setmanal de despeses i ingressos actuals.
5. Gràfica d’evolució de la temporada per setmanes.
6. Resum dedicat a l'escola juvenil.

Aquestes són només algunes de les millores, esperem que gaudiu de la idea presentada. Algunes de les funcions noves només estaran disponibles per als usuaris plus (encara no hem decidit quines).

Dev. Diary 48: New finance tab - UX project

Together with current development process we are preparing new proposals for next few pages and innovations. New finance tab project is almost done, so you can check our proposal using the link below. New tab will be much more detailed and will allow you to check your club finances from few different perspectives. What's important, today you can check out the finance overview page. That will be the main page for finance checking, but as you can see at the top of page there will be also an option to check more detailed tabs, like dedicated reports for costs or incomes. That will allow you to compare wages of players and coaches, track your tickets incomes divided by type of game, etc.

In the presented project you can find a few new features, like:
1. Club finances are separated into operational part and dedicated part for transfers;
2. Reports in different time periods, starting from weekly, ending with whole season overview or even last season results;
3. You will be able to compare seasons;
4. Seasonal predictions based on your current costs and average incomes per week;
5. Trend chart to summarize season week by week;
6. Dedicated summary for youth school.

It's just a few improvements, we hope you will enjoy the presented idea. Some of new features will only be available to plus users (we still haven’t decided which ones).

Dev. Diary 49: Visor 3D Actualitzat

Alguns anuncis importants a principis d'abril.

Finalment hem corregit els errors informats del visor 3D, ara ja podeu utilitzar la nova versió, que sembla funcionar molt millor. No obstant això, encara es poden produir alguns errors; informeu-ne al fòrum Bugs / Ideas (en).

Llista de les principals millores:
1. Els noms correctes de les substitucions;
2. L'estadi es mostra correctament (de vegades faltaven algunes parts);
3. Condicions meteorològiques corregides (a la majoria dels partits hi havia marques d’aigua al terreny de joc);
4. El sostre del costat de la càmera s’ha amagat;
5. Samarretes de porter actualitzades (ja no són les mateixes que els jugadors de camp);
6. Molts d’altres petits detalls..

Malauradament, el nostre treball a la pàgina Vista General es retarda, degut al covid el nostre treball no serà tan ràpid com esperàvem. Però la pàgina Visió general ja es troba en una fase força avançada. El nou termini límit és a meitat del mes, com a màxim la tercera setmana. Esperem que la comunitat ho entengui; intentem fer tot el possible per oferir tots els canvis tan aviat com sigui possible.

Dev. Diary 49: Updated 3D Viewer

Few important announcements with the start of April.

We have finally fixed bugs reported for the 3D viewer, now you can use the new version, which seems to work much better. However, some bugs still may occur; please report them on Bugs forum.

List of main improvements:
1. Proper substitutions' names;
2. Stadium displays correctly (there were some parts missing sometimes);
3. Weather conditions fixed (in most of the games there were visuals of water on the pitch);
4. Roof on the camera side is hidden;
5. Goalkeeper shirts uploaded (no longer are the same as field players);
6. lots of other small features.

Another part of our work that is close to the end is portraits generator. We uploaded all the illustrations and we can create portraits, you can check out the generator here (refresh the site to display another portrait): https://sokker-postacie.codee.dev/
Hopefully we will introduce new portraits to the game next week, two at max.

Unfortunately, our work on the Overview page is delayed - due to covid our work wasn't as fast as we expected. But the Overview page is already at a quite advanced stage Our new deadline is the middle of the month, at the latest the 3rd week. We hope that the community will understand it, we are trying to do our best to deliver all changes as soon as it's possible.

1. El més aviat possible, ens agradaria assegurar els informes professionals de SK perquè creiem que el seguiment del progrés dels jugadors hauria de ser senzill des del mateix joc, sense necessitat d’utilitzar cap programa extern.
2. Els bons informes d'entrenament també són la base per implementar un nou sistema d'entrenament: això ajudarà a controlar el progrés dels jugadors en el sistema que preparem.

Now we're starting our works on further subpages, which will be changed, and these are connected with training.

This is a priority because of few reasons:
1. As soon as possible we'd like to ensure in SK professional reports, because we believe that monitoring progress of players should be simple from the game level, without necessity to use any external programs.
2. Good training reports are also a basis to implement a new training system - this will help to control progress of players in prepared system.


We're working to prepare few tabs, you can see the details below:

Short update this weekend!

We are pleased to share with you another page that is almost ready for development: the new Finance tab.
It was presented few weeks ago as a UX project. Since then the project was finished by our graphic designer.

At the same time we are getting ready to publish the Overview page (yes, we know it's taking much more time than we announced). But the good news is that the Overview page is finally introduced for testing at the test server, so we are really close to introduce it in the game (hopefully, next week).

Dev. Diary 52: Algunes novetats

Característica núm. 1
Finalment hem introduït els nous retrats dels jugadors. Encara hi ha alguns detalls que hem de corregir però, en general, estem satisfets amb l'efecte final.

Ho continuarem millorant:
1. Que casi el color dels cabells amb els de la barba (amb alguna possibilitat de colors diferents);
2. Que es reflecteixin els colors actuals del club als uniformes durant els partits (i esperem que aviat també el disseny; com ara les franges, etc.);
3. Hi ha massa possibilitat de barba (ara la majoria de jugadors en tenen);
4. Absència de jugadors calbs.
També ampliarem constantment la base de dades de retrats amb noves il·lustracions.

Característica núm. 2
Actualització automàtica de la transferència (aquests darrers dies hem estat provant l'actualització automàtica en les licitacions per jugadors amb alguns clubs escollits) sembla que la característica ha funcionat bé i la presentarem aquesta setmana per a tots vosaltres. El mecanisme és senzill; quan les subhastes estiguin a punt d’acabar (2 minuts) la finestra de licitació s’actualitzarà automàticament cada 4 segons sense que calgui actualitzar la pàgina.

Pàgina Vista General: ens hem trobat amb alguns errors durant les nostres proves, però segurament aquesta setmana introduirem la nova pàgina en versió beta.

Dev. Diary 52: Few new features

Feature No. 1
We have finally introduced new player portraits. There are still few small things to be fixed with them, but overall we are pleased with the final effect.

We will keep improving it:
1. Link hair color with beard (with small chance of different colors);
2. Link match kits with current club colors (and hopefully in the future with kits design, as stripes, etc.);
3. Too high chance for beard (most players have it now);
4. Lack of bald players.
We will also constantly expand portrait data base with new illustrations.

Feature No. 2
Transfer auto-refreshing - last few days we tested auto-refreshing on player bidding with few chosen clubs - seems that the feature worked well and we will introduce it this week for all of you. Mechanism is simple, when bidding is close to the end (2 minutes) bidding window will refresh automatically every 4 seconds, with no need to refresh the page.

Overview page - we found few bugs during our tests, but it seems that new page will be introduced this week as beta version.

Bé, per fi!

Estem encantats d'anunciar que es publica la primera subpàgina completament nova, la pàgina Vista General :)
Per ara és una versió BETA, probablement trobarem alguns errors que s'han de corregir, però està preparada i els mànagers ja la poden utilitzar.

L’enllaç a la pàgina Vista General apareixerà aviat al menú de l’esquerra. Un cop s'hagin corregit tots els errors i s'hagin fet traduccions a cada idioma, establirem la pàgina Vista General com a nova pàgina per defecte després d'iniciar la sessió.

És un gran pas endavant per a l’equip de desenvolupament. Les punts crucials són:
1. És la primera pàgina del nou disseny Sokker (desenvolupada des de zero).
2. Durant el desenvolupament hem preparat estils de disseny i marc de codi que ens permetran treballar molt més ràpidament en altres subpàgines.
3. La nova pàgina també és més adequada per a principiants i les notificacions (guia pràctica) que es presenten a la Vista General ajudaran a prendre decisions clau més fàcilment.
4. El nou disseny és molt més adequat per a dispositius mòbils que el lloc web anterior.

Hi ha dos ginys importants que falten (presentats a DD anteriors sobre la Vista General) que es desenvoluparan aviat:
1. Vista General de les transferències;
2. Cronologia setmanal.

Dev. Diary 53: Overview page published!

Well, finally!

We are happy to announce that the first completely new subpage, the Overview page, is published :)
For now it's a BETA version, probably we will find some bugs that need to be fixed, but it's ready and can be used by managers.
You can find it here: https://sokker.org/app/overview

Link to the Overview page will soon appear on the left side menu. After all bugs are fixed and language translations made we will set Overview page as the new default page after login.

It's a really BIG STEP forward for the development team. Crucial things are:
1. It's the first page of the new Sokker design (developed from the scratch);
2. During development we prepared design styles and code frame that will allow us to work much faster on other subpages;
3. New page is also better suited for beginners, and notifications (guidelines) presented in overview will help to make any key decision-making easier;
4. New design is much better suited for mobile devices than the old site was.

There are two important widgets that are missing (presented in previous DD regarding the Overview), which will be developed soon:
1. Transfers overview;
2. Weekly timeline.

Dev. Diary 54: Pàgina Vista General: correcció d'errors i funcions

Les dues darreres setmanes ens vam centrar principalment en la correcció d’errors de la pàgina Vista General. Sembla que la majoria de problemes estan resolts, d’altres s’han de solucionar en els propers dies.
A partir d’avui començarem amb traduccions locals a les vostres llengües maternes i, probablement, la propera setmana s’haurien d’introduir.

Vam decidir desenvolupar algunes funcions petites basades en les dades actuals que es mostren a la pàgina Vista General:
1. El resum del club conté les dades actuals del vostre equip, les compararem amb els resultats de la temporada passada per tal de poder avaluar-ne fàcilment el progrés.
2. Es farà el mateix amb el giny de finançament, hi haurà una opció per comprovar els resultats generals de la temporada passada.
3. També estem desenvolupant una opció per comprovar competicions diferents de la “curta” taula de la lliga; la copa nacional (o altres copes) també s'inclourà en aquest giny.

Altres canvis importants:
1. Actualització automàtica durant la licitació dels traspassos: probablement haureu notat que les subhastes a prop del final (2 minuts) s’actualitzen automàticament cada 4 segons;
2. Pàgina de registre: hem decidit fer-ho més senzill, hem reduït el nombre de camps necessaris per registrar un equip nou, esperem que ens ajudi a aconseguir més usuaris en el futur.

Dev. Diary 54: Overview page: bug fixing & features

Last two weeks we were mainly focused on bug fixing for the Overview page. Most issues seem to be solved, others should be fixed in the upcoming days.
From today we will start with local translations for your native languages, and probably in the upcoming week it should be introduced.

We decided to develop some small features based on the current data displayed in the overview page:
1. Club summary contains current data of your team, we will compare it to the last season's results to make you able to easily asses your team's progress;
2. Same thing will be done with the finance widget, there will be an option to check last year's overall results;
3. We are also developing an option to check competitions other than the "short" league table - national cup (or other cups) will be included in that widget too.

Other important changes:
1. Transfer auto refreshing - probably you noticed that transfers near the end (2 minutes) are auto-refreshed every 4 seconds;
2. Registration page - we decided to make it simpler, we have reduced the number of fields required to register a new team, hopefully it will help us to get more users in the future.

If you still notice any bugs about the Overview please report it on bugs forum.
One of our programmers will continue Overview page development, but the rest of the team moves on to next few challenges: training reports, welcome page and registration process, and match viewer intro.

Dev. Diary 55: Projecte Nova Pàgina Principal (sokker.org)

A causa de les vacances, vam tenir menys comunicació les darreres setmanes, però finalment és hora del proper diari de desenvolupadors.

Disculpeu tant text polonès, per al nostre dissenyador va ser més fàcil utilitzar la llengua materna; per descomptat, introduirem noves pàgines en anglès i els lingüistes les traduiran localment.

Què és important en els projectes presentats:
1. La nova pàgina principal és bastant senzilla i està orientada a nous usuaris: l'objectiu principal és presentar el joc als principiants i motivar-los perquè es registrin;
2. El procés de registre és molt més senzill del que era i, combinat amb l'assignació automàtica d'equips, reduirà el temps per crear un nou equip al mínim;
3. La pàgina d'inici de sessió també és senzilla i està integrada en el nou disseny;
4. També podeu comprovar com quedarà la pàgina principal als dispositius mòbils.

Amb sort, la nova pàgina principal s’implementarà al final de la temporada actual.

Due to vacation we had less communication in recent weeks, but it's finally time for next Developer Diary!

Sorry for so much Polish text, it was easier for our designer you use native language - of course we will introduce new pages in English, and then linguists will translate them locally.

What is important on presented projects:
1. New main page is quite simple and oriented towards new users - main goal is to introduce the game to beginners and motivate them to register;
2. Registration process is much simpler than it was, and combined with automatic team assignment it will reduce time to create a new team to a minimum;
3. Login page is also simple and embedded into the new design;
4. You can also check how will the main page look on mobile devices.

Hopefully, the new main page will be implemented till the end of the current season.

Dev. Diary 56: Resum de nous elements i propers canvis

La temporada de vacances no ha ajudat a mantenir la freqüència de la nostra comunicació, però avui ho compensem amb un informe extens de l’estat del nostre treball. Esperem que els nombrosos canvis que hem fet al servidor compensin la manca d'informació.

Informes d'entrenament - versió beta

Durant diverses setmanes heu pogut veure una nova pestanya a la pàgina d'entrenament: "Progrés Primer Equip", que mostra en forma de taula el progrés de tots els jugadors.

Si feu clic a un jugador determinat de la llista, s’obrirà l’historial d’entrenaments d’un jugador concret jornada a jornada. Aquesta opció s'ha activat aquesta setmana. Estem impacients perquè ho proveu. És possible que encara hi hagi errors amb aquesta vista i les millores estan en marxa aquesta setmana mateix.

Les funcionalitats més importants dels nous informes d'entrenament:

1. Marcatge de tots els canvis d'habilitat dels jugadors.
2. Possibilitat d'ordenar els jugadors amb qualsevol filtre.
3. Registres del tipus d'entrenament i nombre de minuts jugats en tot tipus de partits.
4. Historial de l'entrenament del jugador (els usuaris PLUS tenen accés a dades d'arxiu durant tota la durada de la subscripció).

Durant les proves, la pestanya està disponible per a tothom. En acabat, serà una funcionalitat només per als usuaris PLUS.

Actualment estem treballant en les següents solucions:

1. Recompte correcte dels minuts jugats (ara apareixen errors en cas de lesions i partits internacionals).
2. Marcar les setmanes en què el jugador va estar lesionat.
3. Millorar la llegibilitat de l’historial d'entrenament d'un jugador determinat (replegar els elements).
4. Afegir imatge del jugador.
5. Afegir hiperenllaços al perfil o a la nacionalitat del jugador.
6. Diversos altres errors menors, com ara la millora dels separadors numèrics, la superposició de textos, etc.

No totes les notícies són dels informes d’entrenament.

S'està treballant en la targeta "Informe setmanal", que serà una visió simplificada dels canvis de l’entrenament del nostre equip. Contindrà informació sobre el tipus d’entrenament i sobre els entrenadors, l’evolució de l’equip júnior i sobre una nova vista de gràfiques. Inclourà una barra de desplaçament i es marcarà les setmanes en què l’esportista no hagi entrenat.


Nous traspassos: una llista amb un resum dels traspassos en curs.

Un altre element important que hem aconseguit implementar és una pestanya completament nova que resumeix els traspassos en curs. Aquesta és la pestanya predeterminada que s’obre en entrar a la pàgina Traspassos i allà hi ha una llista de tots els jugadors que estem intentant comprar o vendre.

Les funcionalitats d’aquest element són:

1. Estadístiques de jugadors més àmplies i visibles alhora (edat, valor).
2. Possibilitat de veure les habilitats del jugador sense anar al seu perfil.
3. Possibilitat d'ofertar per un jugador de la llista sense anar al seu perfil.
4. Canvis actualitzats a temps real; podem seguir el progrés de la subhasta des de la vista de llista.
5. Informació sobre el nombre de clubs interessats en el jugador.
6. Possibilitat de supendre el seguiment d’un jugador.
7. Possibilitat de seguir un jugador sense haver de licitar a la subhasta (icona de pin al perfil del jugador).
8. Compte enrere del final de subhasta (segon exacte de final de subhasta visible).
9. Marcar les subhastes en què anem guanyant amb una icona verda.

Al mateix temps, també estem treballant en alguns elements que falten aquí, com ara el seguiment d’entrenadors (encara no implementat).

Vista General: correccions i canvis

També s'han produït molts canvis a Vista General, des d'una sèrie de correccions per a diversos elements més petits (per exemple, afegir dades econòmiques completes de la temporada anterior a la secció de Finances, tot millorant-ne diversos elements visuals, etc.), a implementacions més grans, com ara la introducció d'una secció completament nova: el calendari amb una vista prèvia de la setmana actual al joc.

Actualment, el calendari només mostra els esdeveniments que ja han tingut lloc, però aviat es complementarà amb suggeriments sobre esdeveniments relacionats amb els propers dies (com ara informació sobre quan estan programades les rondes de lliga amistosa o quan canvia l’edat dels jugadors a causa de la nova temporada).

Automatització del registre d’equips

També hem entrat al segle XXI pel que fa al registre d’equips. Tard, però finalment hem automatitzat l’assignació d’equips (en lloc del fins ara treball manual de l’administrador). Ara, la majoria d’enviaments són acceptats per un algorisme que comprova la credibilitat del compte i l’equip s’assigna immediatament (tret que hi hagi seriosos dubtes sobre el compte). Qualsevol altra verificació es realitza en segon pla. L'usuari pot iniciar immediatament l'exploració del joc.

L’automatització ja funciona. Encara requereix canvis en el contingut dels correus electrònics de registre. Actualment estem treballant en la seva reescriptura.


En què estem treballant ara?

En els darrers mesos, hem accelerat la feina de manera significativa i estem molt contents de que cada vegada apareguin més característiques noves al joc i que els canvis comencin a notar-se. Esperem que també estigueu satisfets amb els resultats que esteu veient.

A més de les obres esmentades anteriorment, actualment estem treballant en diversos elements nous:

1. Nova pàgina d'inici amb un registre i procés d'inici de sessió simplificats.
2. Nou sistema d’entrenament.
3. Escenari del partit (per als dos visors - 2D i 3D). També tenim previst preparar un visor 3D per funcionar en dispositius mòbils.
4. També hi ha altres elements a la cua dels treballs de programació: la vista de temporada (calendari de partits i vista de llista de partits) i la vista de finances nova i ampliada de forma significativa (totes dues es van presentar en diaris de desenvolupament).
5. D'altra banda, en disseny gràfic, hi ha una nova vista per fer l’alineació..

Dev. Diary 56: Summary Of New Elements And Upcoming Changes

The holiday season was not helpful to keep our frequent communication, but today we make up for it with a long entry describing the status of our work. We hope that the numerous changes that appeared on the server made up for lack of information.

Training reports - beta version

You have been able to find a new tab on the Training page for several weeks - "Main Team Progress" showing the progress of all players in the form of a table.

Clicking on a given player from the list opens the training history of a particular player from week to week. This option has been activated this week. We can’t wait for you to try it. There may still be bugs with this view and improvements are underway as soon as this week.

The most important functionalities of the new training reports:

1. Marking of all skill changes of players;
2. Possibility to sort the players by any filter;
3. Logs training type and number of minutes played in all types of games;
4. History of the player's training (PLUS users have access to archival data for the entire duration of the subscription).

During the tests, the tab is available to everyone. Ultimately it will be a functionality only for PLUS users.

We are currently working on the following fixes:

1. Correct counting of minutes played (errors appear in case of injuries and international matches);
2. Marking the weeks in which the player was injured;
3. Improving the readability of the training history of a given player (squeezing the elements);
4. Adding picture of the player;
5. Adding hyperlinks to the player's profile or nationality;
6. Various other minor bugs, such as improvement of separators in amounts, overlapping texts, etc.

This is not all the news on training reports!

Work is underway on the "Weekly Report" card, which will be a simplified view of training changes in our team. It will contain information about the type of training and about coaches, the progress in the junior team and on a new graph visualization. It will include a scrollbar scrolling function and it will mark weeks in which the athlete missed training.


New transfers - a list with a summary of conducted transfers

Another big element that we managed to implement is a completely new tab summarizing the transfers carried out. This is the default tab that opens after entering the Transfers page and there we can find a list of all players that we are trying to buy or sell.

Functionalities of this element are:

1. More extensive player statistics visible at a glance (age, value);
2. Possibility to see the player's skills without going to his profile;
3. Possibility to bid a player from the list without going to the profile;
4. Changes refreshing live, we can follow the progress of the auction from the list view;
5. Information on the number of clubs interested in the player;
6. Possibility to remove the observation of a player;
7. Possibility of observing the player without having to bid him in the auction (pin icon in the player's profile);
8. Countdown to the auction end (visible exact second of the end of the auction);
9. Marking the auctions in which we are winning with a green icon.

At the same time, we are also working on some missing elements here, such as coach observations (not yet implemented).

Overview - fixes and changes

A lot of changes have also occurred in the Overview, from a series of fixes for various smaller elements (e.g. adding full financial data for the last season in the finance section, improving various visual elements, etc.), to larger implementations such as the introduction of a completely new section - the calendar with a preview of the current week in the game.

The calendar currently shows only the events that have already taken place, however it will soon be supplemented with hints about events related to the coming days (such as information about when the friendly league rounds are scheduled or when the age of players changes due to the new season).

Team registration automation

We have also entered the 21st century in terms of team registration. Late - but finally we've automated team assignment (vs. admin's manual work up until now). Now, most submissions are accepted by an algorithm that checks account credibility and the team is assigned immediately (unless there are serious doubts about the account). Any further verification takes place in the background. The user can immediately start the exploration of the game.

Automation is already working. It still requires changes to the content of the registration e-mails. We are currently working on rewriting them.


What are we working on now?

In recent months, we have sped up the work significantly and we are very pleased that more and more new features appear in the game and that the changes are starting to become noticeable. We hope that you are also satisfied with the results you are seeing.

In addition to the works mentioned earlier, we are currently working on several new elements:

1. New home page with simplified registration and login process;
2. New training system;
3. Match scenery (for both players - 2D and 3D). We also plan to prepare a 3D player to run on mobile devices;
4. There are also other elements in the queue for programming work - the season view (match calendar and list view of matches) and the view of new, significantly expanded finances (both were presented in dev. diaries);
5. On the other hand, in graphic design, there is a new view of the squad selection.

Dev. Diary 57: Nova pàgina d'inici i vista de llista de partits

Ens complau anunciar-vos que ja gairebé hem acabat el treball en dues noves pàgines que properament es presentaran al joc. Aquests ja estan disponibles per provar-los, però encara tenen alguns errors i el nostre equip de desenvolupadors està treballant en la seva versió final.


Nova pàgina d'inici

La primera d'aquestes pàgines és la nova pàgina d'inici de Sokker. S'ha preparat d'acord amb els nous gràfics. Està adaptat tant a ordinadors com a dispositius mòbils.

El lloc web ja està operatiu, les opcions de registre i accés també funcionen. Aviat, també afegirem captures de pantalla del joc i algunes captures de pantalla de previsualització de partits de Sokker. Nova vista de llista de partits

També estem treballant intensivament sobre aquest element. Malauradament, no podem dir si podrem aplicar ambdòs canvis a principis de la propera temporada. Aquesta és actualment la nostra màxima prioritat i dedicarem el 80% dels nostres recursos d’assistència al sistema d’entrenament al setembre, però també és un canvi molt complex. Ja estem veient diverses complicacions relacionades amb la reforma. Intentarem proporcionar les dates exactes d’implementació al proper Dev. Diary. Som conscients que la reforma prevista és actualment la més important per als jugadors.

Dev. Diary 57: New Home Page & Schedule View

We are pleased to announce that we have almost completed work on two new pages which will soon be introduced in the game. These are already available for testing but still have some bugs and our team of developers is working on its final version.


New Home Page

The first of these pages is the new Sokker start page. It has been prepared in accordance with the new graphics. It is adapted to both PCs and mobile devices.

The website is already operational, the registration and login options are also working. Soon, we will also add screenshots from the game itself and some preview screenshots of Sokker matches. After the tests are over, it will be the only home page of the Sokker and the current one will be replaced by it.


New matches list view

The other page is the new view of our team's matches. We have arranged it in the form of a list, which is much clearer than the current version of the presentation of matches in two columns. In this case, we are still working on the aesthetics (too many colors, some too bright), not all options work and there is no filtering by season (it will be available soon).

Nevertheless, the view improves many functions. Within it, the following options will be available:
1. Simple color marking of the match type;
2. Marking empty slots for friendly and arcade matches;
3. Positioning the site on the current week (the next match in the middle of the screen);
4. A separate tab with arcade matches (it will be separated from regular matches to simplify the view);
5. Of course, all items on the list will be links (to teams or competitions).


Next steps

Parallel to making corrections to these two new tabs, we are already in a very advanced stage of the work on the next subpage - the new version of the finance tab (with significantly expanded statistics). As a reminder - here you can see its appearance and functionalities:

Changes in training and the league system

We are also working intensively on this element. Unfortunately, we are not able to declare whether we'll be able to implement both changes at the beginning of the next season. This is currently our highest priority, and we will devote 80% of our backend resources to the training system in September - but it is also a very complex change. We can already see various complications related to the reform. We will try to provide the exact implementation dates in the next Dev. Diary. We are aware that the planned reform is currently the most important to players.

Dev. Diari 58: Plans addicionals per a canvis en el joc

Tornem amb la propera actualització tan esperada sobre el nostre progrés. Tenim davant el descans entre temporades que és un moment molt important per nosaltres per implementar canvis significatius en el codi del joc. Permetrà desenvolupar una actualització completa del codi per a les actualitzacions diàries. Això afecta tots els mecanismes de joc que tenen lloc en segon pla i s'acostumen a actualitzar cada matí i fan avançar el joc -a partir del calendari de la lliga, passant per ascensos, descensos, així com tots els esdeveniments cíclics; des d'entrenaments fins a càlculs de contractació o patrocini de júniors. El codi existent responsable de totes aquestes actuacions estava desfasat i no ens ha permès introduir nous canvis relacionats amb la mecànica del joc (reforma de l'entrenament, però també la reforma del sistema de lliga o els canvis anunciats a les escoles de juvenils).

Aquest cap de setmana (del 27 al 28 de novembre) tenim previst implementar un nou codi perquè és el moment més segur per a un canvi tan gran. La manca de partits oficials ens permetrà corregir qualsevol error de manera continuada sense causar gaires molèsties als jugadors. Creiem que el canvi anirà bé, però encara existeix el risc de nous problemes que no hem trobat al servidor de proves.

La implementació de la nova actualització no introduirà cap element nou al joc. Es tracta d'un canvi del codi del joc per un de més nou, adequat per a treballs posteriors, però no canviarà res a la jugabilitat actual.
Al mateix temps, és un canvi clau per a noves reformes a implementar: la reforma del sistema de lliga i la reforma de l’entrenament. Després d'implementar el nou codi, començarem els preparatius per implementar les dues reformes que estem planificant per a la temporada vinent (61).
La reforma de la competició serà una prioritat per a nosaltres. Preveiem que la seva implementació a la temporada 61 és pràcticament segura. La reforma de l’entrenament, en canvi, es pot implementar simultàniament, o una temporada més tard. Depèn dels problemes de desenvolupament: de com funcionin juntes les reformes des del punt de vista del codi i de si totes les proves necessàries (per exemple, velocitat d'entrenament, etc.) funcionen sense problemes.

Sabem que tots espereu veure nous canvis al joc. Estem intentant amb tot el nostre equip implementar-les el més aviat possible, però hem d'equilibrar la intensitat de les implementacions posteriors i el risc d'errors, així com la lògica dels canvis posteriors que sovint estan relacionats entre si i sorgeixen els uns dels altres. Estem fent tot el possible per completar el projecte el més aviat possible.

Per comentar els darrers canvis ens agradaria resumir breument; hem implementat una nova visió de la composició de l'equip, hem corregit diversos errors menors relacionats amb les vistes introduïdes anteriorment, també hem afegit l'opció de desar l'inici de sessió del jugador. Aviat, prepararem un DD separat sobre tot això.
Actualment estem treballant en les properes vistes: la nova pestanya de finances (el treball ja està molt avançat; l'hauríem d'implementar en el joc les properes setmanes) i la nova pestanya del club (estem mirant d’ implementar-la a finals de desembre) .

Dev. Diary 58: Further plans for changes in the game

We are back with the long-awaited next update on our progress. There is an interseasonal break ahead of us which is a very important time for us to implement significant changes in the game code. It will allow further development of a comprehensive update of the code for morning updates. This affects all the game mechanisms that take place in the background and they are usually updated every morning and push the game forward - starting from league schedule, through promotions, relegations, as well as all cyclical events from training to junior recruitment or sponsorship calculations. The existing code responsible for all these actions was outdated and did not allow us to introduce further changes related to the game mechanics (training reform, but also the reform of the league system or the announced changes in junior schools).

This weekend (November 27-28) we plan to implement new code because it is the safest time for such a big change. Lack of official matches will allow us to correct any errors on an ongoing basis without causing too much inconvenience to players. We believe that the change will go smoothly but the risk of new problems that we did not find on the test server still exists.

Implementation of the new update will not introduce ANY new elements to the game. This is a change of the game code to a newer one, suitable for further work but it will not change anything in the current gameplay.
It is at the same time a key change for further reforms to be implemented - the league system reform as well as the training reform. After implementing the new code, we will begin preparations for implementing both reforms that we are planning for the next season (61).
The competition reform will be a priority for us. We predict that its implementation in season 61 is practically certain. The training reform, on the other hand, can be implemented simultaneously, or a season later. It depends on the development issues - how well will reforms work together from a code standpoint, and whether all the necessary tests (e.g., training speed, etc.) will go smoothly.

We know that you all look forward to seeing new changes in the game. We are trying with our entire team to implement them as soon as possible but we must balance between the intensity of subsequent implementations and the risk of errors as well as the logic of subsequent changes which are often related to each other and arise from each other. We are doing everything in our power to complete the project as soon as possible.

To comment on the latest changes, we would like to briefly summarize that we have implemented a new view of the team composition, we have corrected several minor bugs related to the previously introduced views, we have also added the option to save the player's login. Soon, we will prepare separate DD about all this.
Currently we are working on the next views: the new finance tab (works are already well advanced, we should implement it in the game in the coming weeks) and the new club tab (we are looking to implement it by the end of December).
