Subject: »7170 managers in Sokker!
Yes, you are wright, but see the result: very more users leave sokker
-> we have more better chance to win the championships:)

The main problem with teams and managers seems (from my point of view) come from Poland... In other countries, it seems that the number of users is quite stable, no ?
yes and no
Romania has 5500 user A few seasons
now we have 4000

we were a little bit over 2000, not under 1500.
indonesia was have 315 users. and now we have 359 users. and will be up more.

Nah, Poland has a stable ~16k. Fun fact - from what I remember Poland had a stable +500 new users registering each week. It means ~2k people monthly, around ~24k people yearly. Yet...still 15-16k, all the time...but greg thinks that the layout etc. things are not the problem so...:-)
I'm intrigued as to how many people sign up on the whole over the course of the year.
Consider that the game has lost 16000 established users in 14 months and then essentially add everyone else who had signed up and left on top of that number.
16000 users
40000 new signups (rough estimate)
Yeah clearly everything is great, no reason to change anything here.

I don't believe lay-out or something is a problem. Maybe the game is just too difficult for a lot of starting managers and the progress doesn't go fast enough... Then people quit... Can you blame sokker for that... Not for the 100 % I think. Maybe a decent guide or start-kit FROM SOKKER ITSELF, with videos, etc... for newbies would help... And that would help to grow the number of users and to keep the ones who register.
I don't know a lot of economics, but taking care of new customers (why not a month PLUS for newbies (sokker won't lose anything with that) and a decent digital guide to start with explanation of training, etc...?) seems an important rule where sokker even doesn't care...
Even Coca Cola still can't rely on the product only without merchandising, etc... Why sokker could do?

Currently sokker.org has 56k+ users, but for example Trophymanager.com has 100k+ users, which is surprising (for me) - so it shows that sokker has a lot of unused potential!
After having marked teams for deletions we are glad to see that have the lowest inactivity percentage in 18 months. Here are some extra numbers from just now. Regular TM: Managers: 136.000 Banned: 10.000 (7,3%) Inactive: 38.000 (28%) Facebook TM Users: 21.000 Inactive: 15.000 (71%) Banned: 2.000 (10%) Furthermore we havent lost traffic the past year, even though we havent advertised since December (peak in the graph): google.com/adplanner/planning/site_profile?hl=en#siteDetails?identifier=trophymanager.com&lp=true
And in Autumn there will be a brand new TM version and I am more than sure, if they will start advertising again, then their total users number will start growing very fast. (Maybe even I will join that game again! :))

Greg once gave stats that said that about 90% people log in once or twice and never more. So yes, it's a problem of ugly and not userfriendly layout.
(why not a month PLUS for newbies (sokker won't lose anything with that)
already there for those newbies who keep on playing for at least a month, they get one week plus.
and a decent digital guide to start with explanation of training
all you need is prepare a decent, flashy video explaining what can you do with tactics, the match engine etc. I could do it, but come on - not for free, especially as I care less and less about sk.

that changed months ago? 2 days after signing up, 2 days after a month. Imo a bad change

no idea, but for what I know people get plus after a month, not after the start...not sure though, just my observation
