It has to do with that they see it is not an easy game. You do not need much time to see how the game works. I told you this is my third attempt. Because of this reason. I told you that a lot of HT friends after signing in decided not to play because of this reason.

But i will let this topic go, you do not even read what i am posting. Waste of time for me.

better promotion = more users.. but what is greg doing for sokker promotion ? .. he simply says that we promotors use big forums, and there are google ads (nobody care about them).. thats all

I think that sokker needs only good promotion to have ~100k users..

I do completely agree with you. Just I would like to add few notes to that design issue as many users have mentioned. I think there isn't any problem in design itself, I would rather say that the usability may be slightly dubious. For users that play the game even for few days it may be all too easy but as it was stated many users log just once or twice.

I have been working with new users for quite a long time. They have asked me really often how to do even for the very basic things like how to set up the friendly or how to set orders for the match. Not mentioning that they hardly get how to tweak the tactics and whatever else. Of course this all can be solved by some guides that are already present but I don't think it is an ideal solution. People are just too lazy to read lenghty text even though it is accompanied by well made images.

I think that it would be really good to remake the layout, especially the front page. There may be two versions of it. One for experienced users as it is now and one for newbies. Eg. there may be shown such information like the upcoming match with some sort of explanation and link to set the orders of course, some sorts of notifiers (like you haven't arranged the friendly), quick overview about trainers.

Next idea could be to introduce better in-game interaction. Eg. ou know that many users are a bit frustrated by sponsorship issues. I guess it may be quite good if users get every two weeks (or some time ;)) some report by sk-mail where it will be mentioned why the situation is as it is. Sometimes there may be a mail coming stating that the upcoming match is really important to warn the manager that the impact of that match will be quite significant on fans mood. I think this may be the way users are used to in many manager games.

You've generally got a good idea about what needs to be done, but you probably just wasted some minutes writing it cause its now gonna be ignored. Sad, but its the truth.

A tutor-button for a month would help I think, but the DEVs choose the way it's done right now. Don't think the full potential of this help-option is used the way it is now.
