Maybe I need to explain why (in my opinion) they should start from beginning, with a 'new' game:

1. people who tried sokker and didn't like it most probably won't try again. on the other hand when they will hear about a NEW manager game, that has 3D for free etc. they will most probably try it the moment they hear about it.

2. there will be no 'why should I play this game, there's too much difference between me and those at the top...it will take me 6-7 years to win anything' problem. new game = equal chances

3. there will be no 'it was better 3 years ago...' crying

4. they would start like a new game, that is FROM BEGINNING fully functional - which would be amazing for those, who wouldn't know that it's sokker

as for current users, do you think that they won't register in the 'new' game? maybe the top-top managers wouldn't, although Vilpu is an example that starting from beginning is a lot of fun

also, by 'abandoning' sokker I meant just letting it be, without much changes

the 'new' game would actually be the same game, though looking differently and 'reseted' in a way

I will try it for sure, but I want to stay here too :-)

I have to admit it´s more fun now, than it was being in the top with the old one. I will be back in the top in few years, win some titles and start all over again:)

Talking about Sokker. I even don`t know if Your suggestions would help Sokker to grow. Just my opinion, but I think it´s more fun for majority to be in role of a player not a manager. That´s why these games don`t grow. Even Hattrick has lost few hundred thousand users in recent years. Maybe these games have lost their spark and need something completely new. I think perfect 3D might even help if you graphics like you in FIFA or PES.

PS! Is it just me or something have been done with the skin? My left side menu is now on the top and I dislike it.

Maybe it would have sense to combine the ideas. One person could be the coach setting sk-tactic and arranging general training [of course it would have to change] and his team would be made of other users who would also set their individual training etc.

I googled the best football manager games and found some top 5 list where this game http://www.soccermanager.com/ in no.1, HT is second...
Anyway, this game was created in 2005 and has over 500 000 users. I wonder why this game has 10 times more managers than Sokker? Has anyone played it?

I think the name of the game and layout are the first things that must be changed. ME is secondary.

Although it is kind of different game - there is no training, no youthschool. Basically it's a poor internet version of Football Manager. There are thousands of 'worlds' in which you compete, for example I play in a world with Serie A. There are real life players, whose skills improve according to how they play in real life.

layout are the first things that must be changed.

I have suggested it again to change the looks of the Sokker website, this time on the test server so the DEVs must see it, specially now that some other major changes has been implemented the site needs an update too :)

it has been mentioned many times ago...but I hope they will make it better :-)

I also have told greg a few times already, and I will continue to do so if he doesn't listen ;P hehehe

Another idea I suggested is to change the looks of the stadium in the stadium page, something like this would be nice I think:
