Subject: »7170 managers in Sokker!

2013-12-07 23:31:33
Never saw it. It was a lucky guess, based on my fb wall feed.
2013-12-09 19:10:05
27601
2013-12-09 23:50:20
27622

Wrong topic name, should be 27000+ :/
2013-12-10 10:27:52
we are still growing!

Low number of managers can also be a possitive thing, now it's easier to get to the top division ..... :/

Users' base is always growing. Thing is that new users don't log in for second or third time, usually.
Marketing model is good, brings results. Usability of the site is quirky.

yup and it was always so.

this game easily could've reached 400k.

Marketing model is good,

Euh, no, not really, or better, really not. The total users has always been a 'wrong' number, as only Poland was (and still is) the large Sokker country. About 5 other country made it to 2000+ or so, but all other 100 countries (!!) never made it to 1000+, even with 'all' sign ups who never came back after 1 login.

And you can't tell me Polish people are better in understanding Sokker as any other country. So something else must be wrong and marketing of Sokker is absolutely one of the main problems why Sokker never ever made it in any other country except Poland.

this game needs tutorials or something that sows what managers can do in the game. surely many people won't be interested and left the game, but a 20% ratio could give sokker a chance. now ratio is 1%?

Yes indeed.

Sokker needs at least a good, interesting, motivating, informative, etc etc, ingame tutorial which pops up the first time new managers sign up.

And ofcourse a way more userfriendly layout, better overal looks and graphics, shorter and better understandable rules text, game play text and FAQ page, etc

Now Sokker has tutors, but tutors are already to late. When a new managers comes to Sokker.org he/she looks at the site and makes a dicision wether to sign up or not. I'm absolutely sure most won't because of the looks. Of those who do sign up, most look around for a couple of minutes, try some things and almost all close Sokker and never come back again. Then the tutors see these new sign ups, but they are already gone.

this game needs an owner

A boss who takes control, with management skills to run a small business. Or when he doesn't know himself, find out and/or ask what is best to do.

And it's not that hard: How to use Google ..... :/

yes, it is weird that sokker stayed as mostly Polish game. I have no idea why.

google is different from country to country, you got results shown as those from your country choose, so once the polish userbase was high, it was easier to get new users from poland...

Also, sokker is the polish way to spell football right??

For me it's just the same ;)

(But if the rumours are right.... Greg thought sokker was the normal English name of football :) )
