nope, dead
all games of such type rely only on the base of users that they amassed years ago
look at http://footballstrategy.org/
great game, great layout, responsive admins etc.
it was officially launched year ago and it has 526 users
people don't want to play online manager games on their browsers, everyone plays games on their tablets, ipads and mobile phones

and as said, much more competition... which means, a new game must rely on money paid advertising to gain users.... footballstrategy also doesnt have good google ranking... and was launched with tons of massive faults.... a very big one for example, new started teams had better players, then they could produce themselves in next many seasons.....
and browser games can be played on tablets and ipad too (well even phone)....!!! and games made pure for that, are also in big competition over users (inter football manager has 50-60 users..)
the market is not dead, unless you want to claim, that nobody wants to play manager games anymore... but yes, the market has changed..

But if sokker was regrow to old strenght.... is must have a better access from facebook to sokker, and make effective campaign in there..
and as said, much more competition...
no, it's not about competition.
if it was about competition, then users from older games like sokker and hattrick would move to newer browser games, like footballstrategy.
but they don't. older users leave the market and younger users don't join the market.
hattrick once had ~1 million users. now they're down to what, 300k? less?
sokker had over 70k, now there are probably around 15k users.
new games don't reach even 2k users.
nobody 'new' wants to play browser manager games. and don't say that you can play sokker or hattrick on tablets, phones etc. yes, you can. but it's not ituitive and it's not easy, because the layout is prepared for mouse clicks.
inter football manager has no users because it was made by amateurs in the mobile market. this game should:
a. be free
b. be paid in micropayments
if you look for football manager at google play store, you will find 100+ games. only two of them are pay to play.
one is the 'mobile sokker.org', the other one is...Football Manager. why would anyone pay for unknown, little Inter Football Manager, when they can install 100+ other free manager games, some of them much better?
c. have a normal name
HOW can you call a football manager 'Inter...'?! most people will think that it's a game for Inter supporters. and it's not even 1st when you search for it, it's under and actual Inter Milan manager. stupid, stupid, stupid.
market for browser games IS dead. all possible data points to it.
people switched to professional mobile/tablet games.
look at the numbers:
Top Eleven: 10 000 000 - 50 000 000 installs
Champ Man: 1 000 000 - 5 000 000 installs
Fantasy Manager Football: 500 000 - 1 000 000 installs
Total Football Manager: 500 000 - 1 000 000 installs
Lineup 11: 100 000 - 500 000 installs
Be the manager: 100 000 - 500 000 installs
Manager football: 50 000 - 100 000 installs
etc.
Inter Football Manager? 100 - 500 users.
sokker.org: ~18k users.
you still think that the browser market is not dead?

Maybe you are true........ i thought it was numbers of competition.... such a shame..... especially when you invested so much time in sokker, and want it to continue... but i still think it will take years

big problems in HT
big problems in HT
haha we must hack HT... :D and all other manager games.... somebody can hack??
they increased very hard the "plus" prices.
A lot of players decide to leave it/find something else. I've writed it in this topic at that time.

This wasn't my point, I tried to say greg is creating new bot users that obviously they do nothing more than keep the amount of users of the game for example now over 20.000.
I tried once to send a welcoming skmail to arround 30 new users, 20 in spain and 10 in Canada. No answers recieved. Neither one or read. This is statistically impossible, no words about a game which has less than 40 users in a country (Canada) has that income of users.
