Subject: »7170 managers in Sokker!

Considering by how many have been approved already i dont think its much more than 2-3 days.

So Argentina has magically over 2,400 users now... Brasil over 3600 and Colombia over 2500??? This so called south american phenomenon??

Chile has the same regular amount of 395 users... a few more on the waiting list, but nothing compared to the unreal numbers of over 1700 users on the waiting list on Brasil?

Doesn't make any sense.
2015-06-14 22:03:54
just one sense...you have to improve chile growing :P
2015-06-14 22:18:38
Of course there had to be that one noob that made a joke out of it instead of really understanding the comment.
2015-06-14 22:25:32
Chill out man. What do you want us to say? Paraguay has only 77 users and 0 on the waiting list. Uruguay also has nobody on the waiting list..

Well these are big countries by population and they probably have their own ad system set up by facebook showing specific ads for specific countries unlike in europe where there may be same ads for a region(for example latvia-lietuva-estonia are all one country according to facebook)
So basically if they show country-based generic ads in facebook only people from these specific countries see that. These ads wont show up in Chile(yet) for some reason, maybe the hashtag is not popular or some other ads are more important at the current time or something so thats why you dont grow :P
The current ad probably targets countries with more population in that region. For example China wont grow because facebook should be banned in there. They got their own somekinda facebookish thingie i think. My guess is small countries will start to grow in some time when the ads reach them.

That is the case in my opinion if facebook ads are behind this wave of people of course.

Don't over analyze my "attitude" towards my text. I am chill. I just don't waste time with bad jokes that don't contribute anything.

Chile is no small country to the comparisons mentioned above, nor am I complaining.

Im highlighting the fact that this seem like unreal numbers.. hopefully is all "real", but seeing how others country don't seem affected at all... I doubt is just advertising and maybe not all of this "new" users are actually real.

If you have a facebook account you can see it for yourself how to make ads.
For example i made one simple one. You can see that there are countries specifically mentioned there. Whoever made the ad probably had countries listed like this aswell and of course he targeted big countries.

Audience
Your audience includes people:

Location:
- Estonia
- Lithuania
- Latvia
Age:
- 13 - 65+
Language:
- English (All), Estonian, Lithuanian or Latvian

But yeah, for some reason most of the traffic seems to go on Sokker App on mobile which is crap crap crap.

Chile is no small country to the comparisons mentioned above

?

Population:

Brasil 202 768 562
Colombia 48 014 026
Argentina 42 699 500
Chile 18 006 407

That said, there's obviously something bringing those new sign ups that is not happening in Chile. Still not sure what it is, although what Visconte suggest (some kind of advertising/spam/misleading link/whatever that is only active for some IPs) is the most plausible explanation (just like it is happening for Turkey but not Romania, in Serbia but not in Croatia, etc).

These are Facebook comments that have appeared in few last days on Sokker Manager community so these new users seem to be real afterall. I dont understand much of it but google translate says people cant find a way to log in? Could this be somekinda App problem?

This is what you can do to advertise Sokker on FB to let Chile grow.

And apparently something is different in Chile as in those other countries you mentioned, maybe your country isn't that much football as those other countries.

And also, Brazil has always been 1 of the largest Sokker countries, nothing unreal about that.

Actually, after "scanning" the whole division D in Argentina, I found most new users don't come back after admin approval, but among those who do:
~50% log in normally (*)
~50% have failed login attempts only (that is: registration, admin approval, failed logins and never back)

(*) as 74.53% of statistics you see, these numbers are made up :P
