Subject: Sokker development

Since we're all here reading this and playing the game, we can say that we all like this game, including me, with its pros and cons so this topic is not about b*tching but just talking.

I'm wondering what the development plans are for this game but I'd like to focus more on the layout part of it, so the looks, graphics, menu etc. The reason for this is that of what I've seen from some other games and this game X in particular, a lot a lot of people join just because they like the layout and the graphics and I was one of them. That game though has the most subjective, non common sense game engine ever and compared to sokker is way behind but again if I just look at my country, the difference in users is crazy.

So to come back here, a friend of mine and I have tried to recruit a lot of people cus it's more fun but most of them didn't like the looks and they didn't even bother to try out the game.

So what's the good news guys?

There will be a new layout. Also there are projects about many nice things, like list of clubs youths etc. :)

oh, and changing the color of the benches and seats on the stadiums? :D

I heard that you will be able to check your team's strength of a date you choose.

Or something. :)

The new design is in development. I've seen something of it and I can tell you it really is an improvement, it looks really nice. There are still much problems with it, however, and devs have also other work to do, so you'll need to wait at least one month, so be patient.

Some technical improvements are being made and there's a lot of work on the server. That means that they're not able to work on the new design themselves and that the programmer they hired to do the job will have to do it on his own. After they're ready with the server they'll join the programmer.

Currently the new design is not ready. There are some errors and it also doesn't work properly on other browsers than Firefox, as far as I know. Have some patience and you'll see how great it can be made.

So be patient. Try to attract more users. Support the Devs and Sokker Stuff. Last but not least light a candle or say a prayer for the servers and the devs... they need some divine guidance... and borkos...

why there is no improvement for game since 2011-03-07 ?

(facebook and server things are not improvements)

Damn you. I read borkos post and thought "cool, they're working on new stuff", then saw the date^^

I hope the new developments and stuff really worth it.
Players' and trainers' faces, facebook and many other things sucks as hell

cosmetic. they hafnt had a decent programmer involved in a long time imo

looking backwards:

maj - fix crash of server
maj - paying by card for plus
march - faces and FB connection (a lot of us turned both function off :-) )
march - changes in new teams
march - defensive "slides" and that "pushing ball ahead"

So, it is half of year without any serious addon for game from March :-(

What about de migration from Flash to HTML5?
