Are you sure in this? If I remember correctly on last WC pots were decided by points.

Don't know for sure. There are also no clear rules about tis.

last WC, Argentina went on Poland, both teams were first in their groups (Argentina wasn't happy about that :)

my mistake than, I forgot that Poland wasn't first :))

Spain won group F with 6 points and 7-4 goal difference and there were some better runner-ups (eg. Romania), so the group winners surely go to the first pot
