Subject: [FireSokker] Official FireSokker Thread

Hey gecks,
if you want to talk to mariner you'll have to contact him :)

Anyway - making an addition like the one you requested takes quite some time (that I don't have right now) and even then it will not work as you might expect...

FireSokker is a Browser extension which means it runs on the client-side and the client (Firefox) does not have any information at all about the form of your players.. there's lots of data that has to be stored for a feature like that (when do you want to store that information? where do you want to store that information?)

I think an extension is the wrong place to store this kind of information - usually this information has to be provided by the server-side or generated by a third party (like alltid.org for hattrick) application
Once the information is available it can be integrated into an extension without any problem (if the provider allows it)

Cheers

but does it actually work on online.sokker.org?

Yes it is

Oh I see.
Well, I thought that it would be far more easy. Store for example the last (let's say) 20 average form values in a form_table and then plot them into a graph somewhere under.
In my aspect, the only (basic) difference needed, would be a table instead of a single variable. And then, using the old values, the graph would be created.

Anyway, you know better. =)

One more thing. You know, the drop down menus you added next to each player's name is a useful enough feature, but to my opinion, it's more useful for the new managers. The most of us know our players and their positions fairly enough. It would be nice, if there was a choice in the preferences window to enable these drop downs or not.

Thanks again for your time.
Oh, and sorry about that nick altering. It wasn't made on purpose. =)

Problem: I can´t see any matches while Friesokker is working unless I delete all cookies after each login. Without Firesokker, it´s no problem.

I have a problem with firesokker.

I can't see any stats in the players' page.

Firesokker V. 0.1.1
Firefox V. 3.0.3

I found out why we can't watch matches etc..

When a new window/tab of sokker is opened. then it appears like you are not connected to SK..therefore you can't watch matches...

now it is fixed, don't know what happened.
2008-10-14 11:15:54
and this works with firesokker disabled??
2008-10-14 11:24:20
yes
2008-10-14 11:36:15
ok... i think i found the bug...
again online.sokker.org should work perfectly..
so does sokker.org which redirects to online.sokker.org...

the login on www.sokker.org does not work in 0.2b but has already been fixed for 0.2 because the games are always loaded from online.sokker.org where people are not logged in when using the firesokker login, but it does work if using the original Sokker login page...

hope somebody can confirm this...
