I quit to explain! I send one mensage to greg, I think he are going to answer in this topic.

This will be solved in a few minutes/hours. :p

Hi. i'm very intrested about this subject, it took me one hour to read and understand your opinion. I look forward for the answer of greg. Meanwhile i whant to post my opinion.
I'm agree with the percentage 90%, 80% and 33%, but my opinion is if one player plays 90 minutes on league and 10 minutes on friendly he will get 90% + 10/90(min) * 10 % (difrence between 100% and a legaue mach -90%) = 90% + 1.1 % = 91.1 %.... So if the player will play 90 +45 he will get 95% and if will play 90+90 he will get 100%.
Then if he will play 10 +90 then 10/90 * 20% + 80% = 2.2% +80 % = 82.2 %
If he will play 60 + 45 :he will get 60/90 * 90 % + 45 /90 * ( 100% - 60/90 * 90 %) = 60% + 0.5* 40 % = 80 %.
The teory is that it is takaing in to consideration most minutes played (league or friendly), and if minutes played in legaue is greather than minutes played in friendy then the formula is :
(minutes played in league)/90 * 90 % + (minutes played in friendly)/90 * [ 100 % - (minutes played in league)/90 * 90 %]
and if vice versa minutes played in friendly grater then minutes played in league formula is :
(minutes played in friendly)/90 * 80 % + (minutes played in league)/90 * [ 100 % - (minutes played in friendly)/90 * 80 %]
If the minutes played in legue is equal with the minutes played in friednly then it tales first the minutes played in league cause it have higher percent. (i.e 90 min + 90 min = 100%)
So 45 minutes leageu + 45 minutes friendly = 45 / 90 * 90 % + 45 / 90 * [100- (45 / 90 * 90 %)] = 45 % + 0.5 * 65 % = 45 + 32,5 = 77,5 %.
The correction that i have it is that it cold be take first the grater percentage obtained by the minutes played in league and the minutes played in friendly i.e ( 60 minutes league + 65 minutes legue -> after my teory is 65/90 * 80 % + 60/90 * (100 -57.7) %= 57.7 % + 28.2% = 85.9 % training. But in that case it cold be calculated that 65/90* 80 is lower then 60/90 * 90 % ) 57.7 % < 60%, so in that case the formula get the higest value so the training will be : 60 % + 65/90 * (100-60)% = 60% + 28.8 % = 88.8 %.

all very interesting and complicated

how will you validate it?
2009-06-10 09:29:37
I'm glad you had patience to understand what I wrote. i don'tunderstand the meaning of "validate it". Did you mean how will i prove it?
2009-06-10 10:42:57
yeah he means prove it ;)

(which is near impossible)

there can be loads of ideas about the exact formula and each of them might be as accurate as the next...
also, since its not linear, id say theres a log or something in there.. x^2 or something ;)
just a thought ;)

EDIT: clearly i didnt read through all of ur post.. but in its format, its annoyingly complicated and i cba at the moment..

I can't prove it. In fact my forumulas are based on some assumptions:
First is the phrase on the traing rules,
Second is the procents% that i take it from you (90%, 80% and 33%)
But based on game rules, the forumalas can be upgrated with any procent u whant (95 - 85, 90 - 70, and so on).
.
I'm curios what loop thinknig about my opnion.

loop, can you plaease take some attantion about what i have wrote beofere and tell me your opinion please. Thank you!

in italy we got some theories

the first theory allows us to know how many skill-points will be distribute to a youth when he'll be promoted int he first team

the second theory allows us to know exactly when a player will pop if we know decimals of this player

according to these 2 theories, and making experiments on tragics youths (as it is easier to calculate decimals as there is the lowest ammount of skill-points to distribute) we can make the difference between offical matches and friendlies in this way

1)calculating decimals
2)checking talent and decimals by let him play 2 matches per week so being sure he'll get 100% of training
3)let him play just the official match and so making the difference between 100% of training and the ammount of training of the official match
4)let him play just the friendly and so making the difference between 100% of training and the ammount of training of the friendly match
5)checking the difference between official match training and friendly training just to have a further prove

during all the experiment we would/should know exactly the decimals of the player

repeating this experiment for more players as there is a margin of error while calculating the decimals
you should get the exact ammount of training for all the kind of matches

however it would cost too much as this experiment would last for at least 2seasons

so at the end of my speech:
making this experiment you should get something like this: the ammount of training should be 94% for official matches and 90% for friendlies

This won't work though :(
The data you get in return is too inaccurate and of little value.

You will never know the exact percentages from individual training.
There is too much sublevel in every pop and the difference between the training percentages per match is too little so it will be lost in the sub level.
You would need to calculate the difference from general training.
This will only work if you have two or more players with EXACTLY the same talent, skill level and age.
Why two players?
Talent loss per age, the study would last around 4 seasons to have valueable data.
One red card would ruin the data.

please it should be explained better on rules
2009-06-18 19:15:41
I think one thing is explain a little and other very different thing is explain bad and give bad ideas for the readers... then before all want that all people read rules
2009-06-24 16:21:42
Solved. :D

In a few minutes I will put the print screen with a answer of greg.

So, I'm correct :p
