Mate, I do not believe they only get an extra 5% for playing in the NT. Looking back at the rules, I quote:
"The benefit of playing a player with the same match order twice is small - they will receive near full training by playing 1 match. If they play only in an international, they will receive around 50% of the normal training"...
If this is wrong, then the people managing this game (sokker) really have an issue! I do believe U27 players can get a good extra-training in the NT games.
Also, since we are playing against each other in the group, you made it clear you do not want to play U27, so I understood. We will play the best teams we have.

Look, it's a bit more complicated than simple x% of training +y% of training = x+y% of training
it's a non-linear change
if a player plays only in NT game [50% of training] then he will get 50% of training
if a player plays only a friendly game [70% of training] and then plays in the NT [50%] then he might get ~90% of training
if a player plays a league/cup game [90% of training] and then plays in the NT [50%] then he will get around ~95% of training
if he plays league+friendly+NT, then he will get ~99%
in other words the more % you have, the slower player gains more %
and since every u27 NT player plays in league games [I can't imagine such top level player on the bench] then the improvement from NT that he will get is barely noticeable...and if he gets injured, he loses a lot [2-3 trainings]

Since you are from Polska, do you think you ask one of the people working on this game (game engine, admins, etc) (you probably know them better) to confirm what you have written above?
I thought from the rules that if a player plays a league [90% of training] and then plays in the cup [90%] or friendly [70%] then he will get around 100% of training. But I thought if you add a NT game on him, his training may jump over 100%.
I wish an admin or someone who knows exactly describe here (approximately) the non-linear change. It is not nice that users playing this game to be confused in this matter.

If what you wrote is true, I would like someone as I described above to confirm it, please!
no one can confirm.
Fact is, in order of training influence : play 1 match in training position, then player talent, then training staff, then an extra match (friendly cup or NT), then third match with NT. So in definitive, NT (or any other extra match) is really really poor to influence training. And of course you increase the risk of injury. So sad to say that (as a NT coach) but that's Sokker rules.

There are 2 guys who know how it works - greg and damian. And they don't like to talk about how the game works from the inside.

yes, it is a random draw...you don't get what you want, you get what you draw...
Makedonija was in pot 3, I was in pot 2 - and they made better marks than I did, so I guess I should complain? ;)

Stop whining. It basically doesn't matter who you get from Pot 2&3, they're about equal. But sure, draw was set up to make sure mighty Saudi Arabia is out after group stage...
