Borkos is a wuss

:P (joking)

What I truly don't understand is how some people try to defend or excuse themselves for what is completely inexcusable.

Just say "Ooops we screw things up, from now on things are going to be X, Y and Z for everyone"

Everyone happy, nobody wants heads rolling through the cliff, no admin/mod earns a penny of this and they do it on their free time. It is ok t 0be wrong or make mistakes, as long as you recognize them and try those to not happen again.

holy words! my same thoughts

Ok ok, nobody actually did write "Borkos is a wuss"... until now ;-)

We don't make explicit what is completely obvious!!!!

I guess you would have to ask this "your" admin...

if he is informed, it should be ok imho, but I don't think anyone here can answer you this.

yes that is problem, and I want to see that rule so I don't have to ask admin, and wait what will he said this time
2008-11-20 19:47:33
Well, that's already possible now.

Give me your password and I'd go in a internet café and set you 10 nice tactics...

that will always be possible, even with very strong rules.

Yes it is possible, true, but the issue is whethe it is to be allowed or not. I know that the next line of reasoning goes "if it is made illegal, how will you make sure users don't break the rule?"

You and I both know that can't be done, but by making a rule saying that it is illegal a certain signal is sent towards the users. If it is made legal an entirely different signal is sent - maybe even one that will entic users to help optimize each others teams. And basically that's what we're talking about: taking care of tactics, training, transfers etc. is all about optimizing the team...

I have two questions to all:

1. I'm assistant manager of our NT team and NT manager an me are good friends, and my question is can he come to my home and that we can make some tactic together?

2. I'm assistant manager of our NT team and NT manager an me are good friends, and my question is can I make tactic from my home with his account?

So this is my real question to this topic and would like to get answer form any Admin, with simple YES or NO, and that will mean that rules are good and very easy to follow, and if he have to explain something about answer or his answer for the both question is not the same, than we have to change rules a little bit

Very good questions. One thing is what people do, another is what they are allowed to do...

I mean, my girlfriend plays Sokker - are we supposed to cover the screen when the other goes walking by the computer? ;-)

Baslx: Yes and isn't this game about making your own team grow through your own capability and talent instead of relying on others quality. Yes i alrdy knew that it was possible, but all of this will make it more "JUST" in people´s eyes to use it.

Hääking: Depends on how you helped him, Learning him how to set up a good tactic and telling him to do that and that is a huge difference, dont you agree?

Baslx: It will only always be possible as long as the system is the same, let's say you put in more login information *Something personal that you wouldn't share no matter what*

Oh damn my grammar is so off today :(

But, to propose a solution to this problem: Couldnt Sokker Dev team make an Account sitting mode?
So that the person who is on a holiday would select an user as his/her account sitter and the sitter could:
Take the ready youths from youth school and check that the next game would be with players who can actualy play (not injured and so on...) Nothing more, because nothing more is actualy needed.

Very nice idea!

Never mind the grammar, I like your reasoning...
2008-11-20 20:14:17
Yeah nice. An account sitting mode. In this mode another person can log in your team, but just a few functions are allowed (check out juniors, line up, training formation...). Really nice! :D
2008-11-20 20:18:46
I agree the idea is good, but it will still be possible to go around it with the current system.

Lazlo: Thank you, I actually liked your reasoning as well when you answered to baslx =)

I don't get what you mean...

To log in into another user's account should be in my opinion forbidden with no exception. For NTs there should be mechanism for an NT manager to select "assistant" to whom he can delegate the right to set tactics, squad and orders for the game.

you read all my comments?

If yes, please answer the open questions to reason your opinion.
thanks mate!
