Yes, taking care about the team of a friend may be allowed under special circumstances if asked for permission!
It is NOT forbidden by the rules, but you might still get no permission for it.

I have asked the Admins and mods in Belgium a couple of times if I had the permission to buy a player from my brother. We share the same computer, so evidently, the same IP.

Every time (and that's at least 5 times) the answer was clear an loud: NO, if you do, you get banned!

And now I hear all these things, how frustrating do you think this is?
It's clearly that some people just don't want that the Polish advantage is taken away by more capable foreign managers...

I'm happy to hear about this. I have absolute confidence that if I was hit by a car and taken to a hospital without internet (we don't have those in Denmark, but never mind) for months, then something extraordinary (like you describe) would be done to save my team. Regardless of what the rules say in that particular respect...

Nah, when you get permission, you also have to upheld rules. One of the rules of sitting is NO transfers, so also no transfers with same IP. But I retired 5 weeks ago, so I do not know if my interpretation of the rules is still correct :)

@Lazlo, yes this would definately be a special occasion and I am sure that admins would help you in this occasion. :)

Mods have allready often made comments about me and my brother sharing IP'adresses and logging in close after one another...
If they find that that is not done, why would it be ok for others to do so?

It happened, as showed in last thread from one that used this kind of sitting, that bought a player from the team sitted....some times after...amazing!!!

What is staff doing if in july or august 10.000 users are asking for permission to be controlled during holiday?
