To keep a team alive, there's the VACATION MODE.

Setting vacation mode does help if you know in advance that you can't connect anymore.
It does not help you when your pc gets stolen, or something happens and you are in hospital etc.
The vacation mode does not check the NT line up as well.
You phone your friend to do that for you and he has to ask for permission first.
There are legitimate reasons to allow others to connect to your account under special circumstancen and that's why it has been allowed in the past.
Why do I need to write this again? For about the 5 time since 4pm yesterday?

this isn't supposed to be game where having more friends means bigger advantage

there are other games like Travian where you can send extra resources to your friend and clan members, but this is not CLAN game... you shouldn't be in any disadvantage just because you have less friends than other players

i can also accept this...(even if I dislike sittering)

but what about the huge abuse of this "exceptional" way to do

maybe all that people (polish users that apply often this behaviour ...at least 5-6 users) they are always in an hospital??? always all around the world???

It's clear that there were an abuse of such behaviour
It's clear that just few people all around the world (and also in polska) knows about the chance to behave in this way

so...it's clear that there was something wrong in the interpretation-rules system (to use an euphemysm)

but the problem isn't to give login after 50 days because you are in hospital, but give it for an auction or for a tactic, or for bid on an other player, that isn't a real problem!! and admin gaves permission for that.
2008-11-21 10:00:16
Abuse is always there, but this has been discussed the past x pages.
No need to start from 0 again.

and admin gaves permission for that.

No, they did not do this.

Well, no. It's not a question of 5, 10, or 20 people. It's more. And it was never hidden.

About the 'abuse' - erm...? How could we abuse the rules if we were doing it under admins agreement?
2008-11-21 10:03:34
maybe some admins abuse of their power

it's just what they are discussing about since yesterday
2008-11-21 10:03:52
borkos admitted he got permission from admin for that, so do not say that admin didn't gave permission for that. One of you must not be honest...

borkos007: It's the same as setting tactics...I can't be online/me internet connection faile and I need to buy a player - I ask the admins whether someone can log in to help me, he logs and that's it...for example Raul bought Lossmann for me...Jack Daniels bought Mitch Valentine for me and Siekiera bought Christian Koppel for me as I wasn't able to log to sk when I started my studies.

To be sure - i do not acuse borkos of breaking the rules. I just want to illustrate that admins have different opinions on that and allowed that in the past

Yes, you have such reasons... But logging in to an account to buy a player because he's in hospital doesn't fall under these reasons!!

The only thing the userr logging in to the friends account may do is set the team in vacation mode. If it's NT-team another solution may have to be found. But still you don't allow transfers...

It's clearly that the Polish teams have had these advantages... And that Admins have allowed this is just ridiculous... There is only 1 option...

Only Accept admins that can speak English (good English, not crappy English), cause there aren't much Polish admins that understand English...

And this is why such a big fuss arose... When I was mod I NEVER saw a Polish mod/admin in the mod forum... I sincerely hope this has changed since then, but as I understand from some mods this isn't the case...

And this discussion can be ended quite simply actulaay...

Change the rules as to what all countries understand from that specific rule (i.e. NO TRANSFERS BETWEEN SHARED IP TEAMS, NO LOGGING IN TO SOMEONE'S ACCOUNT (with exception of special circumstances))
2008-11-21 10:07:50
By now I have not heard one word from an admin that he granted official permission to someone doing a transfer with another users account.
By now every admin told me he did never do that and he has never heard about such cases.

So for me this is a hoax currently.

How can they abuse their power if they were the one's who set up the rules? No fault of Polish admins, no fault of Polish users. Now it's just time to discuss it in admin circle and make a decision whether the interpretation should be left to local admins, or there should be exactly same rule for whole world.
2008-11-21 10:09:16
Have you even read the post above mine??

Borkos clearly states there he asked permission to an admin that someone may log in to his account to buy a player...
2008-11-21 10:09:43
Well, Jack was an admin when he bought a player for me...that's a permission, right?
2008-11-21 10:10:59
And when borkos007 tells me life ends tomorrow?
2008-11-21 10:11:29
How can they abuse their power if they were the one's who set up the rules?

Great argument... I guess now I know that politicians for example can't break laws they created...
