Raul - online

Are you sure?

Till now his IP was something like this: 78.8.*.*
Now his IP changed to 83.10.*.*

Still THAT would be a cheat. Blocking him just to make the elections go through, then unblocking. It'd be outragous. IMHO current situation is better. Generally rules are made for ppl not against them...
2008-11-29 02:36:27
There's a lot of hate in this thread... I think if people are going to take this game so seriously they should consider whether they should continue playing. There are plenty of other online management games...
2008-11-29 02:37:43
Don't think i am mad, i just am saying what i think about this. According to you, people could robe while they don't robe you?
2008-11-29 02:45:36
its more to do with the fact rules have been broken man...

all the same, if there are personal issuse involved, i feel he has every right to step aside... you cant put a game before real life and i think everyone will agree with me on that point

Rules are rules, I agree. But in every rules you find holes, it's impossible to have rules that say everything! ;-)

And the holes - especially in a online manager - should be covered with common sense ;-)

there is no hole in the rule here, although common sense suffices... there is still the issue that rules are different in different countries caus they were translated wrongly, or, when updated or something, they werent updated in all languages... its a massive problem...
in that case some users can do things whereas others cant (such as transfers between polish clubs of same IP) as was stated by a polish user, this rule was not in the polish rules, but its in all english translations of the rules...

at the end of the day, if a rule needs to be amended then it should be. this current rule should be updated and applied to all countries
can an admin ensure this is done... alls fair in love and ice cream eh

I would just like to add to your post that the one starting the elections is only greg, so it's upon his decision whether there will be new elections or not, I don't think admins have much to do with it - Polish or non-Polish, doesn't matter.

If Raul is leaving the game, as they tell us, I do not see any wrong with new elections. We always have new elections when a NT coach cannot continue, at least recently.

A NT coach cannot resign to his job, but we cannot prevent anybody to quit the game.
2008-11-29 03:12:57
If so. What about his players. He willtransfer them till the last one, or will be lost?. As i saw till today, every manager that leave the game, put in transfer his players.
2008-11-29 03:27:38
No, Raul MUST stay in the game. Who is going to buy borkos's players when he can't be online ehhh?? So selfish.

Talking seriously, i could care less how many elections are made in Poland! As long as the admins/greg/Santa Claus have the same considerations if any other NT coach wants to quit.
2008-11-29 03:36:54
sokker, now is a joke

yesterday, the connection´s case
today, new elections in Poland, out of time
tomorrow... maybe what ...
2008-11-29 04:14:09
yes im agree with you
what wait for us tomorrow??
2008-11-29 05:08:38
Calm down, guys!

We're visitors here.
2008-11-29 10:26:43
I see it too as a case of bad translation
2008-11-29 11:25:43
This is getting silly now.

The NT managers can be changed under extreme circumstances, this is seen as an extreme circumstance. Other countries have had their NT Managers changed mid season, it has happened in Nigeria and various other countries already!

Translation issues with regards to rules etc are ongoing topics for Linguists and Admins who work hard for no pay.

This is a game at the end of the day and some people need to calm down a bit, this is not real life.

Also why should a Country suffer through having no NT Manager, and additionally why should owners of NT players suffer through a country not having an NT Manager?
2008-11-29 11:28:17
Because it wasn't allowed in some previous cases...

ok, to draw a line, any nt manager can now call for new elections if he feels he has lost personal interest?
2008-11-29 11:33:30
As far as I am aware nobody actually knows why Raul has pulled out, it could be something serious like a Parent being ill or a child?

I do not know him or the circumstances of his quitting. But yes if the circumstances are extreme then of course a manager can resign with a new election taking place.
