Subject: Elections in Poland

2008-11-29 13:46:48
Maybe you had many cheaters and they simply got blocked? :)
2008-11-29 13:47:37
Under extreme circumstances a NT can change coaches and call for a new election. This is the case with Poland now, and has happened in other NT's this season.

a) what extreme circumstances, no explanation here, and who decides about validity of explanations?
b) it wasn't always allowed in past
c) this addon is not part of rules, just something stated today

I cannot see your point that this game is becoming a joke, that surely is a serious over reaction?

If Brazils Coach had quit would you want your NT team to suffer? Its not as if Poland are in the WC now for example is it?
2008-11-29 13:48:16
and maybe in poland the cheaters are not banned and blocked?
2008-11-29 13:48:21
that was really stupid post
2008-11-29 13:48:43
There are. What's the point of this question? :)

@Darren
If he likes accusing Polska of being a land of cheaters I feel free to do same with Brazil :)

even worst... no reason for doing this

my statement to all this:

Raul, I wish you all the best for your future. What a shame that there was such a discussion for a decision due to REAL LIFE.

And it's really disgusting how many users always feel discriminated as they are not Polish.
Just ridiculous!
For extrem situations, there are special solutions.
It's the same in Real Life. And I think this is okey.

But if you all think: well, Polish users are blablabla, privileged blablabla then think about this:
Does it in any way harm you IF it would be that way?
And anyway it isn't as many user wrote examples of such situations in other countries.

All your hate and jalousy against Polish are disgusting. That's all I wanted to add.
2008-11-29 13:50:11
Yup, it is. Well I hoped it'll end when Poland loses first WC, it looks like I was wrong. :P

Ok i'm going to try and simplify this, purely for my own mind.

Raul wants to resign from the national job for personal reasons, fair enough.

Rules say two seperate things. One says you can only "resign" by being banned, other says personal reasons is enough. So which is it? People have requested resigning from the NT's before and been refused. Were their reasons not personal enough? Or was it just a case of nationalistic favouratism?

Now if Raul is leaving the game you need to look at whats happened in the past? Have immediate elections been called in the past? Regardless they should be from this point on. Whatever happens now has to set the precedent for the game. If Raul stays in the game, every national manager should have the choice to resign at will.

its the point, raul dont quit, he is online..

for new elections had to wait!
the account of him being deleted or him banished!
2008-11-29 13:50:23
Does it in any way harm you IF it would be that way?

of course it does, on TL markets (logging into other account to buy players), on NT level, on personal club achievement level...

Have immediate elections been called in the past?

Yes.

Have immediate elections been called in the past?

When, with non-banned users?
2008-11-29 13:56:09
That was not the question, was it?
