Subject: Elections in Poland
Well if mods and admins can, then why not?
Your argument probably will be that users might resign because they will be doing badly as NT coaches. Well they can always ignore the NT without resigning if there's no such option.

And btw. I think Eesti elections long time ago were more...hm...odd. NT coach makes fun, then suddenly Eesti admin found him guilt of something and he got blocked, the same day the elections started...I wonder what would happen if it was Poland, not Eesti...
No they didnt start in same day... elections started 1 or 2 weeks after that... i was quite angry becouse we were losing points, so i remember it...
And the NT Coach J.Stam(NT Coach of eesti when he got banned) was realy quilty... Admin didnt show us why he was banned but some1 did... and there was a proof of it!

why not? still actuall is election page. if Nt coach resignes, the otherone with the 2nd result taking his place.
Yes.. but it's occasionally news that NT coach resign.. ;> If he's got problems in real life why not?

and that is another aspect to consider when choosing new nt manager, think firs or suffer later

Well, reason I didn't include this as an option is that is a waste of time.
Take this situation, any NT manager can say to the administrator they want to quit the NT due to personal reasons. The personal reason may be that they feel like a failure with the NT, or that they are going to war and can't get online for the next 3 months, but in a way it doesn't matter as a user has a right to privacy and wouldn't expect to be questioned either way.

Admins and Mods resigning compared to NT managers is a totally different issue and should not even be in the same sentence.
I have no problem with NT coaches resigning at all time. It's possible in real life, so why not in Sokker?
I would allow "babysitting" the club, since it is already allowed
I was talking about this case:
Just as an example, a child of a NT coach dies and the NT coach says he don't wanna continue as NT coach but wants to stay in Sokker, but with much less effort. What do you do then?
Would you allow the NT coach to resign? If yes, why, if no, why not?

I think you're wrong.
2007-03-24 11:00 - Group C - tydzień 2
Eesti 0 : 22 Polska
First arrow tactic.
2007-03-31 09:03 - Group C - tydzień 3
Indonesia 7 : 1 Eesti
Second.
Now, there was a block after the second AFAIR. Then was a free 1 week[friendly time] when the elections took place. And at:
2007-04-14 12:00 - Group C - tydzień 5
Österreich 0 : 6 Eesti
I already was the NT coach.

he can ask his sokker friend to take care of nt team
it is allowed

Thats a very extreme circunstance to use, but as a parent I would not give a monkies about anything for quite a long time as I would be in serious state of upset. Not sure I would even think about logging on or anything......

That might be a result, of course. But I think there should also be some certainty about the NT-coach, not that there will be for example like 4 NT-coaches during a season because the NT-coaches resign all the time.
edit: It's obviously an area where there's some tension.

maybe we all are misinterpretating the rules again.
maybe this sentence: NT manager will not be able to resign from their job means that there is no "technical" possibility to do that by the user, but it's not forbidden and admin or greg can do it under important circumstances...

Seriously?
If you were admin and such a user is telling you this you'd give him this answer?
Hmm ... well ... ok
@wdp74: Yep, it's a very extreme example, but I basically just wanted to show that things happen that are very serious and can't be anticipated ...

If NT coaches in sokker could resign anytime, this would give a lot of pressure on coaches, because after a bad match everyone in community would scream for his retirement (like in real life) also :(
I think it is more fair right now, that coaches cannot retire officially but there can be exeptions to this rule if real reasons exist for it (admin/dev decision). Then also community has to deal with the guy they have and have to support him instead of hanging him on the next tree they see :P
