Its true: Mr.200 understood the game perfectly! He is not one of the most experienced users in Uruguay (to be more exact: he is the user number 200) but he learned how to read the games faster than any other, and he has shown he learned really well :)

How are the seedings for the next round determined?
Am I right in thinking that because we are in a smaller group England can't get into the top group of seeds?

I guess thats the luck of the draw though, no teams in our group that we could destroy by big scores to build goal difference, and of course less games to pick up wins.

I tend to agree, we have won every match in a tricky group & look likely to get no-where near a decent seeding.
Thats the downside of 5 team groups. Would just be better imo if there were 14 groups of 6 and you took the best 84 ranked NT's into qualifying. The remaining sides would then need to build up ranking points to get back into the top 84 to make it to qualifying. Solves or unfairness of being drawn in a 5 team group.
You'll still be in the 2nd pot, which isn't too bad. Probably not ideal though. Top 2 in each group progress and then it's seeded based on where you finished in the group stage and not in qualifying, so you're not really disadvantaged other than being in the 2nd pot instead of 1st pot for the initial draw.

I would have gone for 16 groups. Top 2 qualify, no nonsense with new clubs in the ranking, no crap with best 3rd place teams.

Well in a group of 6 we actually would have had a bottom seed to destroy twice, as a result England's goal difference would be far better & we would most likely be pretty close to the top group of seeds.
My point also applies to Mexico who have done exceedingly well in a tricky group, but will most likely not get any reward in terms of a decent seeding.

Uruguay in second place? And with the same points that France in the first place? And Lietuva in the third place?
No... thats impossible... only a team with enourmous amounts of luck can reach the second (almost first) place of that group. An in the case of Uruguay they have no merit, no players, no nothing... I cant understand why they are so lucky! :P :P :P

To be honest you had some luck but you very also tactically good :) Finland got 30 points again! Third time in a row if I remember right! I have to check that though...

Croatia is only team with 30 points that didn't get in first seed pot, we are only 9-th :((
England won every match, but had less games to amass points!
They need to look at how the groups are calculated in future, the three groups with only five teams are at a serious disadvantage with no lowest seed team to beat to gain large amounts of goal difference & two less games to gather points.

I know it is wrong, and that is why I made one mistake and now we are 9-th insteed of been 8-th, against first game against Misr when we could make +10 more easily, but ok, we can't pay against england, italy, belgium....
