Subject: Junior - good to solid

2009-02-21 13:33:22
I don't know why, but many people think that if junior comes as "good" to junior school his talent is equal to his first jump to "solid"

That is simply not true, this is one example from my junior school

first jump
now

his jumps are 3-4-4-4-3...

His talent is between 3 and 4 and his first pop was after 3 weeks. Where´s the problem then?
2009-02-21 13:35:21
that's nothing special. good juniors can come with a bit of additional trainings, but only with a bit. never seen a 2-week-pop from good (new in school) - solid, that would be something new then. ;)

I know that, this is just to those that think (and there are lot of them), that first jump, from good to solid is equal to his talent...
2009-02-21 13:38:44
Noone believes that anymore ;)
2009-02-21 13:39:35
the talent is calculated AFTER the first pop, the first pop is never included
2009-02-21 13:41:17
wrong :P

talent can be evaluated quite accurately after first pop from good to solid ;)

the talent is calculated AFTER the first pop, the first pop is never included

of course we know that (look at my sokker registration date :)), but general theory was, that if junior comes as "good" he has no subskill

that is what most people believe, but there isnt any proof
2009-02-21 13:45:35
you are saying that, if a player goes from good to solid in the first week, his talent will be 1 week? what are you talking about, thats BS :D
2009-02-21 13:47:50
you are saying that, if a player goes from good to solid in the first week, his talent will be 1 week?

never happened, minimum was always 3 (at least we don't know that ever happened) (we are talking about juniors that come as "good")
2009-02-21 13:49:42
i know what you are talking about

i once had a good 34 youthplayer

he popped after 5 weeks, his talent was 7

so your theory is wrong
2009-02-21 13:50:18
some people thought that they had such graphs, but problem was they didn't updated between first saturday and thursday, and help programs (apollo, so) didn't show right graph

still waiting for original Sokker screenshot

so your theory is wrong

this is not my theory, that is general theory

my theory is that there IS subskill in "good" juniors

do you have a screenshot of that? i don't think that is possible or you switched youth coaches from lvl 7 to 15 i guess
