Subject: Junior - good to solid

2009-02-22 16:53:53
yes, in my youth school is the same - juniors with good level has no subskill
2009-02-22 16:56:33
Rink says "often some subskill"
The Manager says "I agree, no subskill"

does not compute

I have a player in my YS who came in good, and he change in 4 weeks to solid but his talent is 4.33, so he came with a little extra level...
2009-02-22 18:52:48
Yes, I mean few subskill, like a 4.5 talent popping after 4 weeks first. With no subskill we would have to pop after 5 weeks first :) So it is "no subskill - very few subskill" what I wanted to say :)

The numbers people post clearly suggest the top level a youth arrives with is 7.2 or 7.25

The last good starting junior i had went like this:

3 4 4 4 4 5

With same coach throughout.

My brain hurts too much right now to know what this means.

it means that you haven't done update after saturday when he was recruited ;)
2009-02-23 13:50:24
;)
2009-02-23 15:21:12
no if he came with good +0.5.. im sure its possible...
2009-02-23 15:27:22
Done an update? I don't use any of those pesky programs, i should have all the plus graphs at home.
2009-02-23 15:33:00
its easily possible as i said.

talent can never be judged by the first pop as has been stated many times before... this is great proof of subskill when entering the school as good :)
2009-02-23 15:36:36
is the point lower the better?

like 3.5 vs 5.3 brilliant YS
2009-02-23 15:36:50
But we've proven talent CAN be "proved" on the first pop if they enter the school as good.

Let's calculate...

good means 7.x

Let's assume that he was best possible talent he would be popping after 3 weeks, with pop of 0.33 every week, it means that x could not be more that 34.

If junior has talent of 4 weeks, which means that his progress will be 0.25 every week. Since all of these pop after 3 weeks, it means that x has to be at least 25. If less, he would pop after 4 weeks, which is not the case in practice.

If 5 weeks talent, his x would be 20, etc. etc

All this means that starting sub skill must be determined by his talent.

I don't know if this has any sense, but I don't want to delete the analysis.

: ))

don't agree with this one, but everything else you said was good....so me opinion is that max junior can be around 7.20 don't know right number but something like that
