Official developers' thread, because the matter is controversial and it will affect everyone.
After some consultations with users, game developers came to conclusion that the current graphical interface is not ergonomic and nonintuitive.
We ara seriously considering some MAJOR changes in how Sokker is going to look like and function.
Why not intuitive?
*top bar (after clicking images at the left) - it's almost the same as right menu!
*tactics - who would be looking for them in training - they are connected with matches
*assisstant - did you know it's in training section ? It should be next to players!
*juniors - would you be looking for them in office? In players or training - surely, but why in office?
*finances/economy - those are considered as office matters, they should be there.
*team history page - many archive statistics may be made, but there is no place to put them
I'm presenting a new concept of Sokker GUI, asking for your opinions and voting how you find those changes. What is put in capital letters - this is new right menu. Other options will be presented after clicking on an icon to the right, at the top bar.

*Observe team - an icon of glasses near the team

Although I am an experienced user, I think we need to do everything in order to make the game easier (more ergonomic and intuititive) for new managers. That's why I voted "YES!!!".
Still, I find the number 1 thing on the to do list: a video or a very good written guide that explains how to create a tactic (that says that you can move the little white ball, that the players move according to it's position, ...). You could find one of these onder the question mark.

Are you able to support SK with any help in this matter?
Cerb made a good movie which explains how to make a tactic. We could make something similar that looks more professional (no offence Cerb ;)) and upload it on youtube. Under the questionmark under the tactics section we could then put a link towards the video.

What should also be done imo, is to make the starting page a bit more attractive. With some screenshots and also a video that shortly shows what sokker is all about. If you mix that up with some nice combination play goals, i think it would convince a lot of people to join.

by "transfers" in players.php you mean transfers (currently in the left menu) or .../transfers_team.php?ID_team=XXXXX
If it is the second option, could it be added to the Office menu instead?

julius - if you and the others intend to change the layout drastically can you increase the space between the top graphic and the rest of the content please to add the ticker bar into it at a later date?
oh and Media will remain in the Office menu, right? ;)
