Subject: Dream Team Web II
hopefully it will get sorted quickly. Unsure of why this address would be blacklisted as i never had any issues when using my server.
The IP isn't blacklisted by us admins ...
The problem needs to be somewhere else I guess, but I unfortunately don't know where it is ...

I can view sokker pages with the IP, but whenever I try to login to the xml files I get errorno 6 as return.
The list on the xml says errorno 6 is "user IP is blacklisted".
Login to normal user page doesn't give any return message at all, directly returns to the front page after pressing login.
I really hope this can be sorted out, since I pay this server only for this purpose. :(
I never figured that this project will run into so many problems.

Read the last posts please.
Dreamteam IP is currently blocked from Sokker.
Waiting for gregs help.
/edit
IP is now unlocked again.
Waiting for rtg to delete the wrong round 13 stats so we can update :)
Still got no info why ip was blocked and why it is now working again...

Ok people.
We are online again and ready to update round 13.
I hope there aren't more problems now.

Ok, now I'm really pissed off.

Yes. And while updating some countries, the job wasnt done properly. So i guess it wont be displayed.
Will check this later on.
Most likely we have to reset round 13 again.
We won't start before this IP blocking is sorted out with greg, though.
Could take a couple of days :(
I'm very sorry folks.
Wanted to do something good and now this.
I really hope for us that greg has an open ear for a solution.
It could also be that it is because of using different logins in short time from the same IP (some sort of anti login hacking protection).
I have mostly done the last rounds alone, or with around 2 people helping.
Will need to sort this out.

Seems to be working again.
I'm updating and scripting since around 9 am, no blocking.
People, I need some help regarding the promotion/relegation lists.
How does it work?
We will do it till 4th division.
In Österreich 3rd division has 16 teams and 4th has 32 teams.
4 go down and 2 go up (kinda strange).
I other countries it does not work like this.
Anyone has a clue on what it is based so I can stick this info into a script?

The best 25% of league winners from lower leagues will promote without having to play a qualifier match. This also means that the worst 25% of teams (ranked by points, goal difference, number of goals, and position in the league at the end of last season as described above) will be relegated automatically. This means that the 8th place team is not always the one to be automatically relegated. The winners of the remaining leagues play in play-offs with the remaining teams placed 5th to 8th.
Play-off pairs are determined on the point and goal difference basis with the weakest teams from the higher leagues playing against the strongest contender.
got from Rules, this was what you meant?:)

It works only when lower league level has 4x more divisions. In loop's example there is only 2x more divisions. We had similar system in Czech republic and I think the first 2 teams from all lower divisions were sorted by points etc. and the best 25% were promoted directly and the rest played qualification match. Higher division had the same system as usually (the worst 25% of teams from 5th to 8th place relegate directly and the rest plays qualification)
Thanks.
Well, that's what I already know.
What I see is:
Scotland has 16/16 leagues in the two bottom division.
Österreich has 16/32 leagues in the two bottom divisions.
Schweiz has 16/64 leagues in the bottom divisions.
How does the promo/rele work?
In Schweiz 4 teams per league relegate and the league winner from lowest division promotes.
In Österreich 4 teams per league relegate and the two top teams from the lower leagues promote.
In Scotland I have no clue (either 1/1 or 2/2?)
My question is if this is somehow connected to the amount of leagues? (well, it is, but how?)
Here what I have:
21 leagues = 4 down one up
37 leagues = ?
53 leagues = 4 down two up
>=85 leagues 4 down one up
/edit
Ok common sense says it's like that.
Have no clue how it is for 37 leagues countries though.

Ok, script now checks how many leagues the country has and makes the promotion list according to it.
Of course you have to first update the data for your country.
Message me if it's not working correctly.

does it also now take into count if the team is in 2-nd or 1-st position?
as earlier it only managed to check points of each team in leagues and then list them accordingly.
edit:seems like its okey now.
