Subject: Dream Team Web II
up anyone any ideas which they would like to see implemented
How about:
Best Players of the season
and
Best Players of all time (well, as far back as Dream Team goes).
Basically, this would list the players with the best single week rating in each position during the season, and throughout all seasons respectively.
In addition, you could also consider:
Most consistently good players of the season
This would lit the players with the best average mark over the course of the whole season.
I'd suggest you also find a way so that the player can only be considered in 1 position, and that position should be the position where he got his highest rating (for the players by best single week rating) or where he played the most number of times (for the players with best average marks over a season).
These could either take the same form as how it is now (best few players in each position), or could be the best 11 (in a standard formation like 4:4:2).
I think i prefer the way it is now as you get to see more players and we as users can figure out the best 11 from there ourselves.
What do you think? I personally think these would be a great addition. :)

hmm thats certainly do able and i suppose it would be the whole idea of a "dream team"
it is certainly plausible from a division, country perspective tho i will need to see how long it would take for the whole of sokker as there is over 2.3million players and 31m marks(big search may take a while)

I use to take statics from there for andorran's users, but players value and players age are not updated since many time ago.
It is posible update this?
The same occurs with new teams names (I see that today they are updated in main page, but still not in full tables.

hi rtg...the update is very slow some times ended in this message "............MySQL server has gone away"
Are these ultimate scouting tool and dream team web dead and under 6 feet? Those age updates and others doesn´t work. Are you going to do something also, after investigation?
it works for me - whats the issue? Have you actually tried to update your players?
I have choose my country Suomi and then I put ok. So I saw dreamteam about player who plays in some Suomi league.
Then I chose this top 100 valuable u21 players. And I saw these players and there is some players who are too old. (example Hannu Riihelä now).
So I tried to update all our players value, form and age. I put this red colored click here button and I get this info: Update has finished - AT LAST
And nothing happens, no changes...

ah your using that one - realistically that has been over taken with the scouting tool. I will have a look at that though
actually if you click on the red text it updates fine for me
