is it possible to make such table in every single league?
ok things like top shooters top assists etc work on a per league basis already. From the main page select the league you are interested in then select the top whatever to see them.

However, there is something dodgy with the calculation of the shots per goal ratio. The first entry seems to be correct but the rest are just "made up"...

I should say, since 2 seasons i am working on a excel table to rank my players with statistics like hockey ones. i give a good sight on effectiveness.
For those kind of stats, you have 1 pt for assist, 1 pt for goal. For strikers you got effectiveness in percentage goals/shots and for goalies goals in per shots against. For these stats, it is kind of difficult to make it accurate, because sokker count every shots as shots, even if they are far away the goal. So we made the hypothesis that a goal have stop a drop by his mind........
During a game, if a goal is scored for the team, everyplayer on the field get a +1. if there is a goal against it is -1.
As we don't have "penalty boxes" in soccer, i've decided in my table to give a -1 for a yellow card and -2 for a red one, giving a better sight of effectiveness of player on the field.
Do you think it will be good to have such statistics to improve the way we see games ?

it would be possibly. Right now i am working on the injury count for players.
