Subject: Supporters Mood Update
What gave you that idea :) I'm unbeaten this season but have still had a lot of mood drops by not beating teams by a big enough margin. I've also paid attention to who I have a friendly with, making sure that if they're not a similar team to me that I score enough goals.
I am arguing for this change because I have a better idea than most people on what an unfair advantage teams like me have had in the past. On the other hand people like you and others I won't mention in this thread think they have a divine right to a top fan club mood and a full house every game. Personally I would prefer to have a fair competition in my league, if you want to continue dominating yours without anyone else having a chance of catching you then fair enough.

this change has actually put me even further in the lead because 6of8 teams in my top league are now getting 80k less per week sponsor money than i am because the balance is off - theyve all been hit by the pitfall. i personally want fair competition in my league too, you wrongly assume i dont. all the people who had a chance of catching me are falling behind

Just making the point that we can all make assumptions ;)
As for your league situation, if it's as bad as they say it is I'm sure the devs will be looking at it. Obviously you are going to be better off that your rivals as you've had a great season but I can't see how the new system would have made any advantage you had even bigger. I've said all along in this thread that there are some valid complaints about this new system, its the other complaints I've disagreed with, for example teams complaining they lost to a team in their league and lost a mood level(?) or teams complaining they beat a team 3 divisions below them by only a goal or two and lost a level. In my book that''s ok and in much the same way I don't think it's a good thing that teams like you or me could gain levels in the early rounds of the cup by just turning up.

WTF!!!
My supporters were "delighted with their club`s performance", I lose 2-0 against a team and now are "madly in love with their club"!?
Seriously, I don't get it :S

Because you lost to a team from division 1 and you're division 3. The fans expected a big loss as the other team is much better so when you only conceded 2 goals they were happy.
It's for this exact reason that the new system was brought in. In the old system you would have lost some fan mood after this result and the other team would have gained some. Over a season of games like this (especially in the cup) you would find it hard to keep your fan mood up even with some close results against big teams while the big teams found it almost impossible to lose fan mood.

Please, someone answer this... I played today with my weaker (B-team) team, I wanted to get beaten so that I could move up to the II/3 league in Hungary, not to the II/2 ... but I have won the match, this is a miracle, ok ... BUT my fans mood has DROPPED 1 level... WHY????
I know all about the variances of this system, or at least in terms of score-lines.
I have won nearly every competitive match this season, my overall record is 19 wins & 2 losses.
My fan mood has certainly been up & down (usually down) despite my consistent winning form. If I only managed a narrow league win it would fall, I had to rely on some thumping victories to restore my mood to a decent level, only for it to fall again if I didn't win by enough in the next match.
I am clearly the highest ranked team in England so this change is certainly against me, however I guess that I will just have to 'fix' my ranking next season and get things a little easier. One season of 20+ goal losses should do the trick, if you are going to get the fans being uphappy with a winning every week then I might as well give them a real reason to cry!

I'd like an official comment on this from the devs. The system is clearly a load of crap. Teams should not be losing fan mood and sponsorship if they're winning, that's just retarded.
that would be OK, if the mood didn't move anywhere. i could understand it. :( but not drop 1 level, after a nice win. :( i don't know, why should we win by 5-6 goals? :( a 4-2 victory is not enough? :(
or please make a new feature, that we know, what the fans want from our team for the season, match after match. and we won't be angry i think.

It is a bit stupid.
I'm lucky that i started the season on perfect fan mood & my fans are currently still fairly happy, less happy than before but not leaving in droves.
If I had of started the season on mid-low fan mood I would have had no chance, its very hard work to gain fan mood when you are at the top of your counties ranking.

I don't expect any change, so as I said my solution for my team is to destroy my high ranking as quickly as possible. I figure I can't lose any extra fans for losing 30-0 rather than 1-0 once they are already depressed, so the best solution is to take a short sharp beating rather than dragging it out over several seasons.
It's not just a problem when you're at the top though which is whole crux of people's discontent with the change. It's stupidly easy to drop multiple levels even with a win but amazingly hard to climb even one level back and that's not even taking into account the affect friendlies can have when they are just training matches.
You have a very high ranking for your league so I would imagine you are feeling a degree of my pain.
The only way to make it work in your favour is to get a low ranking for your league, thats why I will need to lose by BIG scores every week for a while.
Lets me concentrate on training too.

im getting crucified all season too :P
losing hope at the moment - which is a season high since this thing came in :)
if you drop your ranking now, you will lose out in the income from having a higher ranking also mate, so personally i think its not worth it to lose it..just work with it, and the drop in mood will probably be the same as the hit to your rankings anyway..
besides..im pretty convinced its not only about ranking, league position last season or something seems to have a bearing...

If I have a season of just training players then I can make plenty of money on transfers, results will not matter.
If while doing that I manage to lose by enough goals then when I have been relegated I will hopefully be able to recover my fan mood with a few decent results.
With the money from the training (I already have 21 666 678 $ in the bank and a full squad to sell) I can then push on and win the top league again. However, I will have a much easier time retaining fan mood as my ranking will be far lower than it currently is.
