Subject: Supporters Mood Update
If I have a season of just training players then I can make plenty of money on transfers, results will not matter.
If while doing that I manage to lose by enough goals then when I have been relegated I will hopefully be able to recover my fan mood with a few decent results.
With the money from the training (I already have 21 666 678 $ in the bank and a full squad to sell) I can then push on and win the top league again. However, I will have a much easier time retaining fan mood as my ranking will be far lower than it currently is.

it is end of the season, my team is placed 4th in the highest league of Türkiye, adn my supporters are continuing to leave like mad...
this is the bullshit of sokker, and noone cares. i dont like the system here. it makes me sane sometimes. someone will come and say, but you lost your last matches etc.etc. so what, i want a demotion but unfortunately i cannot because my weak team somehow manages to win more matches than i want to win actually. this system sucks...
the worst change made in sokker during the last 3 years. i understand why old users are quiting playing. and it is very meaningful, but those who must grasp the fact seem to be blind and deaf.
anyway... continuing to play with the expectation to see something meaningful, although i have no hope left after the long period i spent here.

If this system tries to emulate real soccer this is not even close, because every starting country cup matches between the tops teams of the country and the ones in lows divisions are usually close games, last week the biggest team in Chile(Colo-Colo) plays with a team with no professional players of Easter Island and only manage to win by 4 goals of difference, Colo-Colo use a mix with a lot of youngsters and a bit of experience players, the fans didn't expect a 10 or 15 goals of difference, so why here you have to annihilate the other team to not have a huge supporters drop and fan mood.
I had a bad season start because of injuries and many red cards.
Lost and draw a few games that I should have won.
Because of this I lost around 100 fans this season and made big loss of around ~200k+ Euro each week.
My fan mood was always very low mostly depressed, only last week it went up one level and this week after another high win went up 2 levels.
Now my supporters are back on second highest level and finally 7 joined again.
I have still won the Austrian Championship the 5th time in a row now.
What do I get for winning it?
Nothing!! Oh another super trophy...
What did I get when it looked like I would not win it?
-100 Fans and a loss of around 1,5m Euros (about empty stadium in home matches thanks to mood).
Somehow this is very, very one-sided and I don't see a light on the end of the tunnel.
Next season the same thing will start over again.
Need to win all matches 4:0+++.
That injuries, red cards and total absurd randomness are in the game is put under the table.

I totally agree.
I also did it 5th time in a row and my fans mood of course didn`t raise yesterday. And I got one lousy fan today. I think this ranking system has mostly the biggest impact on our fans and sponsors money. I win every week in league, however mostly lose in friendlies and my sponsors money drops, also get less fans every week. Imo the friendly games are way too important with that new system.

Hmmm, take a look at my friendly statistic.
For me they have no impact at all.
This season I would have loved if it had a positive effect.
What you see is the same what I have.
You are forced to win all matches easily and high.
On the other side your league mates might have a lot smaller fan clubs and so you get about nothing.
This has not been changed but with the fan mood change there is now a double negative effect for us on the supporter system.
We have two thumbs on our heads.

this is really bad rule in sk!

Like you've just said at the start of the season you had bad results and your supporters left; for the second half you've had better results and they are joining again. It seems to me the fan calculation was spot on for you so where's the problem? It seems to me that you're complaining that your supporters left when you had bad results- again where's the problem? Why should you have a guaranteed crowd even with bad results?
Also, you still don't want to acknowledge you've had it too easy in the past with supporter mood and attendances. Until this season how often did your fan mood drop over the last 5 seasons? I'm willing to bet that it wasn't very often but it seems you consider it quite 'fair' that you had a much superior economy to anybody below you as a result of that. When you were beating teams two or three divisions below you with your b-team and getting a fan mood increase to cancel any mood loss in league games did you consider that 'fair'? Was it 'fair' that the third division team you beat lost a load of fan mood in a game they could never hope to win? Even this season in the friendlies you've had (where you played teams a lot lower than you) would it have been 'fair' for you to get a gain and them to get a loss in mood in games where you could tell the result before play? They are all second and third division teams- why is it 'fair' for you to get a mood increase just for beating them in a friendly? Play teams closer to your level, I have and found that as long as there wasn't to much of a goal difference on either side fan mood stayed the same, when I beat a team near my level well I gained a fan level. Actually think about your result rather than just complain your friendlies had no impact. If you had picked your matches a bit better you could have got a few gains in fan mood but it seems you prefer to complain :)
You don't have two thumbs on your head, you have two fingers in your ears ;) Fair doesn't mean that you should continue to gain an advantage for starting to play a game before others.
The problem is that with you and other top teams complaining about this all the time you encourage newer users to think they are not benefiting from this change when it helps them in the long run. Even now when you admit that your fan mood is back on the up (reflecting your results) you still want to complain about it....

.....but friendlies are training matches I should be able to play who I want in a training game.
What does the past have to do with now. Just because the last system was broken doesn't justify this one being broken.

I was not really complaining. I played my friendlies on the safe side to make sure to not further drop in my fan mood. This was the only logical thing to do in this case.
Fair doesn't mean that you should continue to gain an advantage for starting to play a game before others.
This is not the case for me.
My league advantage is not based on starting earlier.
What you are talking is overall completely ridiculous.
When I lost a game in the past my fan mood went down a level or two of course (depending against whom and how high I lost).
What has been changed is the fact that I need x wins to get it back up again.
What for?
To make it easier for my league mates to get stronger than my team?
Why is that needed?
I had two weeks this season when fans joined my club!
Two weeks!
And you really ask me where the problem is?
Would be really nice to have you in my situation.
I can risk a forum ban for once but you are an ignorant and narrowed person that hurts.
Never forget that it is not my fault that others have not been that successful.
The thumb was always on my head since at least two seasons when league mates who play longer than me but lost against my team got more fans join than I had.
I was frustrated by the fact but thought things would get better once the closed in.
Then this changes came forcing me to sell my long term trainees to stay alive.
Was over the limit 3 times this season thanks to the change and that was trully not needed.

you can play who you likein friendlies - but the rules/devs have always made it clear that they do matter a little bit for mood. It's nothing to do with the new system
Sorry if you felt it was harsh- sometimes I type in the wrong tone :)
What I would say about the disadvantage you feel you have against your rivals is that they have the same problems as you against teams from lower divisions. Because of your success in the past 5 season yours is probably more pronounced but after this season where you've lost a few games it will bring you closer to them in how your fans react.
Again, sorry if you considered my comments hurtful; they weren't intended as such. I won't make any more posts to you.

Hehe, no problem. ;)
You are right, I hope it will self regulate in future!
Time will tell, but I just can't do more than winning my league and then having to sell my trainees to stay in the game is not really making any fun ;)

My point is that if it is broken it's certainly broken less than the old system. I'm sure you'll see it's good points next season in division 2 (and congrats on the league win ;) )
Of course it's to do with the new system because now I am expected to win by some arbitrary and unrealistic amount of goals when I have no control over so many things. I can't tell my players to go easy on tackles to avoid cards or injuries. I can't shout from the sidlines and tell them to be more direct or incisive with their passing when they take their foot off the peddle and start to play loads of cross field passes or decide that they never want to shoot.
It was said either on this thread or the bugs one that Greg in a mail said that friendlies are not taken seriously so why do the fans not agree with the dev?

But if it's broken then it needs adjustment and shouldn't just be accepted because it's the lesser of two evils.
...and thanks, I just made an appointment for the docs to get some tranquilizers after getting into that same league again. :D
