Subject: Supporters Mood Update
But if it's broken then it needs adjustment and shouldn't just be accepted because it's the lesser of two evils.
...and thanks, I just made an appointment for the docs to get some tranquilizers after getting into that same league again. :D

I'm sure it's said that they weren't taken 'as seriously as league games'. Also, to avoid having to win by an unrealistic amount of goals just play teams close to your divisional level. You'll benefit next season anyway as the fan mood calculator will view your history as a third division team when you're actually a second division team.
I should be able to play who I want in a training game without punishment. I got friends and relatives to join and play them to give them an income boost. I am not alone in doing this sort of thing, there is a thread on the newbie english forums titled 'Need a small cash injection?' were other teams are doing the same.
We are giving newer teams a boost but this new system that is supposed to help new teams punishes us for trying to help them which is ironic.

But how about the national cup? You can´t choose against who you´ll play, so you´ll need to win by an unrealistic amount of goals, like 23x0 or more. I remember that greg doesn´t like when a newbie lose by that unrealistic amount of goals.
This season, one of the top brazillian team, Oriente Petroleiro won by 12x0 a newbie (watch here and had two levels drop of supporters mood. Next season he will destroy weaker teams because he doesn´t want to have another drop mood like that.
With this new system, sometimes, especially in national cup, it will be impossible to avoid having to win by an unrealistic amount of goals. And that´s wrong, should not be like that.

So was it better when this new team lost fan mood in a game he could never have won?
No, both aren´t good. It´s not good when a new team lose a game against a top team and have a drop mood, same as isn´t good when some team win by 12x0 and have a drop mood (2 levels). I´m just asking for an adjustment (a significant adjustment), not to change to the old system.
In a total mismatch situation. Its not fair either way for a mood drop. Most likely outcome should be no mood change both sides.
Unless the small teams (typically a newb or bot) wins, draws, maybe I could accept if the small team looses narrowly by 1 or 2 goals.
But if the big team wins as expected, 3,4,6,11,20,30,40-0 then no mood change either way. So no advantage either way, no disadvantage either way. Its a nothing game.
Only mood changes for 'proper' matches. 'Proper' defined as both teams could reasonably win it. This would nail a lot of problems. Paper over a lot of the cracks if you like. Most grumbles are coming as a result of the total mismatch games punishing the big team if they field a less than 1st team 11. Which I think a big team has the right to do that. Also this is better for the small team as a huge loss isn't great for a newbie team, its potentially demoralising and that's bad for sokker.
We should be looking after newbs. Forcing older users into having to batter them is counter-productive IMO.

you beat a much worse side to avoid relegation. no reason for it to go up - but it is a bit rude it dropped really
So we have a team dropping two levels here after winning against a weaker team on av ratings and a team dropping two levels on the thread in bugs on this subject after losing to a better team by the same sort of av ratings value yet you defend both drops even though it's contradictory.
I can't see me defending this drop - read more carefully

I'm not sure i really believe this...i mean, i've jumped like 4 places to max mood after winning my qualifier against a similarly weaker team as your opponents.
I thought ups and downs for qualifiers were extreme?
I thought ups and downs for qualifiers were extreme?
They were extreme in the past but this new mood was supposed to change that and as far as I read into it apply the same rules for all games.
Qualifiers have always had a much more extreme calculation than normal games but a change in this (separate to the new mood calculation )was announced last season. That announcement has disappeared from the news page now though which is a bit strange...
