Subject: Supporters Mood Update

2009-08-19 10:24:38
So your point is that it is fine that fan mood drops like crazy whenever you don't make a high enough win against a weaker* team or even draw or lose, but if you beat similar* teams in close games you get about nothing?

*Note that strenght has nothing to do with actual team strenght, but with the achievements of last season which just cannot be a real index about how strong the team really is.
This is a plain logic and system error that fails in so many leagues.

for me it's fine if his moods dropes like taht after loses with noobs. for the other side those noobs propably get quite nice bonus for winning with such strong team

it's symetrical and fine for me

but if you beat similar* teams in close games you get about nothing?

nothing? i've just said that his moods propably raised by 1-2 levels after that match. you call this nothing?? what have you expected after such result? +5 or +6?? come on...

as far as i know, and what greg said it depends on last results (and other actual factors), not the titles from last season

i know taht those changes are very sharp for dominators but they are needed.
if they wouldn't be aplied the older teams would have permanent bonus in suporters amount only because of that they started earlier

i would even say that this change came too late and taht's why it have to be so radical for someones now...

permanent bonus in suporters amount

Which has just not been the case.
At least not in my country where I hit a certain limit 3 seasons ago so only around 6-8 supporters joined after high wins with highest fan mood, while the opponents I beat did gain more at the same time! (and note that I did not start earlier)
Maybe it was in Polska like that but you can't apply a system that works for big countries but ruins clubs in smaller ones.
You can't win your countries highest division and lose in the same season 1,5m euros and ~60 fans, being 5 times in a row champion and having the same sponsor income teams have that have never been champions and only on second place in a good season (the team that finished place two this season).
Will this start over again next season?
Always punishing those who have worked good and won the league after winning it to take away the bonus they got for winning it last season?
Somehow I just don't get it. Really!

as far as i understood the idea of new fan mood system clubs with higher than destinated by new settings level of suporters amount needs to lost amassed surplus of fans unless they are able to win high enough to keep them

but after lossing all the surplus then even close results will allow to keep the suporters in good mood

they just need to reach the new equilibrium point

And what about this:
"il gattopardo" in my country directly promoted to highest league with a 7:0 win in his last league match.
Highest fan mood.
-3 Fans!

Flugsauerier in my country promoted by winning his qualifier 5:2.
Highest fan mood.
-1 Fan!

This are only two examples from active forum members, it might be even worse in reality.
Something is really really not working

propably they are still little above the new equilibrium point
2009-08-19 17:51:50
How can they be above it, if they have just promoted?

if a real team wins an easy match for sure doesn't lost supporters like in sokker!!!

after taking the championship in my league I lost sunday's relegation match and saw my fan mood drop 6 (!) levels, from madly in love to hopeless.
sponsor contributions went down by 50k. this is the way to insolvency, and it's entirely undeserved.
recovery in fan mood will be next to impossible because I am set to dominate my league.
that's a sure way of taking unlucky contenders down, and it hits a team "on the rise", contrary to all those claims made by sokker staff so far.
I am not prepared to cut my squad or staff because I lost one game to a stronger opponent.

I thought the stupid reform was made to soften the consequences of the qualification games. Now, I was champion of the best league of my level in France, although my team was far from the best one, I played a qualification game against a huge team, which I logically lost, and now my fans lose hope.

How stupid is that?
2009-08-23 03:59:41
the 2nd in your league are better than you now... :)

win is stupid and play the national cup, if you are a top team, too...

My team lose a friendly game by 1-0 and my supporters mood drop 1 level.

I win an official game (Romanian Cup) by 15-0 and my supporters mood remain the same.

Conclusion: A friendly game influences the supporters mood more than an official game.
That's a wrong conclusion, and I hope that you realize that. However, it is a fact that friendlies' influence on supporters mood is to high. The system of the supporters mood is in fact completely absurd in my opinion.
Please explain why my conclusion is wrong.

supporters level 7 -> friendly loose 1-0 -> supporters level 6

next game, supporters level 6 -> cup match win 15-0 -> supporters level the same

So if a friendly does a drop bigger than a cup math can recover, than friendly is more important.
"The system of the supporters mood is in fact completely absurd in my opinion."

TOTALY AGREE!
