its a bit hard to do when your sponsors are cutting the incomes and instead of buying better players, you need to sell your current ones just to survive.

I guess everybody tries to strenghten their team and promote but this system is not the best way to motivate, don't you agree? Promote or lose money till' get bankrupt. I'd hate if that happiened to me.

feel free to repost your sentiment without using bad language.

Could somebody tell what are the exact changes?

Is ELO Rating System still used, and expected results are changed or there is some other thing involved?

Kivivalvur Ropka, could you please tell us why you think the changes are good?

cause to me it sounds like you don't really understand anything about them, and are only happy about it because it helps your own team..

From the looks of thinks you don't understand the changes :) This change helps lower teams catch up with top teams by making all supporters hard to keep happy. In the past it was too easy for top teams as their fan mood never dropped even if they only beat a very bad team 1-0. The even better part of this is that in the past the bad team who lost 1-0 would get a supporter mood drop even though they did very well to only lose narrowly to a big team. Now their supporters will see that as the good result that it was.

read my 6-t post

that's the point, why should the supporters be mad, and leave, even though you've won? that makes no sense, and the fact that it can raise, and you get new supporters, even though you loose doesn't make any sense either.

It wouldn't make sense if every team was exactly equal. They are not and just like in real life if Real Madrid only beat Recreativo by one goal their fans would be unhappy while Recreativos fans would consider it a good result. You do not realise how easy this game has been for me and other top teams...

Good point

Imo. the "handicap" itself is not a bad idea. The way it's done seems to be flawed however. Let's take for example a league where's one team superior to everyone else. The team wins each game with one or two goal difference and wins the league cleanly. With this system the supporters would be furious because the team didn't win the games, only the league, cleanly.

Also, many have written that their supporters have been disappointed after their team won the game by ten goals or more. Realistic?

Is this going to lead towards MOTS & PIC?
2009-06-22 22:39:55
I won 16-0 and still lost a level in mood- of course it's not 'realistic' but games have to work in maths not in realistic scores. If they made it that there couldn't be a 16-0 score too many even games would end up 0-0.

wrong

after normalization suporters would be pleased again
