Subject: Supporters Mood Update
With this system the supporters would be furious because the team didn't win the games
wrong
after normalization suporters would be pleased again

It wasn't my point whether it's realistic that the game ends 16-0. The point was that if there's a team which wins the game with crushing score difference is it realistic that the fans will dislike the result? Whether this game is based on maths or not that's still a serious flaw.
@grzesbe
Sorry, I'm not sure what do you mean with normalization.

I dislike these changes, because they are absurdous. It's a good thing for new users probably, but at the cost of hurting better teams, and it shouldn't be that way, older teams not gaining much mood and supps after winning - ok that's agreed but loosing supps and mood after winning that's not only annoing that's outrageous!!! I think even if a game is virtual it should be as close to the real game as possible, and that's trully enjoyable, and yeah where is the logic in winning a cup match 15:0 and supps leaving your team. I am a weak team and I am personally not affected by the change but the vote says it all 24-76 now.Taking in consideration how many weak teams there are and how many strong it seems that nearly a handfull of people only liked this change
Galaxy_hitch_hiker - Agree with that.
normalization. I take that to mean, the future is that teams fan club members withing the same league are going to strive to equalise. For this to happen, the strong but not strong enough to win large every game teams are going to suffer in order for the weaker teams to benefit.
Im not against the concept. Just reckon its too volitile at the moment.
Some of these points already are implemented. This is how I think it should work to be fair for ALL.
1) I believe fan mood should live between levels "3. are depressed" and "6. are delighted with their club`s performance". Pretty much as the new system.
2) I believe level jump from 6. to "7. are madly in love with their club" should only be achievable by a number of 'good' results (say 3, depending on how good they were) or by promotion or winning top league. Similarly levels from level 3 to "2. are losing hope" and from level 2 to "1. are furious" should only be reached by a series of 'bad' results or by relegation (straight to bottom). This would be much much fairer. Basically if you hit rock bottom with this 'buffering' idea,
3) Winning the top league should be like a Promotion - fan mood goes max. Currently I don't think winning the top league does anything to fan mood.
4) Relegation should put fan mood to bottom mood.
Basically I think Its crazy to have fan moods hitting rock bottom so easily as we have at the moment. Then your more likely to have deserved it.
Im not sure if it should be easy to move from the low levels once you are there. I can see arguments both ways for it being easy ish or hard.

Your post similarly deleted for bad language (and guac missed it too, slipping!).
I think it needs changes, too harsh on older teams.

For my team is good, because my team is #22 of my country and each time i win i have a lot of supporters and when i lose matches i don't lose supporters, but anyway i think that for better teams its totally unfair, and that's must change because i'm sure that soon i'll have the same problem when my team get better than now.
yeah it has to change...
look i lost my friendly 4-0 to a manager who almost has 700 more ranking points than me...
in the competition i won 21-0 against a much weaker team but still my ranking goes down =/
and i think this is wrong, also with my 21-0 win, not even 1 sups joined my club...
I am nr.1 in my league but the money i get from my sponsors is as much as the money someone gets in a league like mine around place 6 or 7... each week i get 69k
ask someone who plays on same level and who is at the number 1 position, you'll see that they get 100K+ ...
i think these are a few strong arguments against the system...
this season those changes were and are really not in my advantage, but i would like to know how the changes would affect my team next year when I'm going to a higher league...

i think it's easy to restore it as it was earlier and what's important change counting in friendlies into 0,25 of official match
Dont like it. I have no clue how the system works now since ive been winning some games but it seems that it has no effect on my supporters mood but loses do.
Voted I am not satisfied with the amendments.
In theory it's a good change but in practice it's too easy to drop and far to hard to climb back up.
If the fan mood only affected new fans joining or leaving and not sponsor cash at all or crowds as harshly then it wouldn't be that bad. Sponsor cash should be set before the season starts and be for the full season at the same rate each week based on fan club size. Crowds should focus more on both club's fanclub size, weather, both team's recent results, both team's positions in the league and then something like a drop of 1% for every level short of the top level for fan mood could be allied too.
The new system should also find a way to compare the strengths of the two teams playing currently it seems that a team can be punished just because they worked wonders with a weaker team in the past.
Because of SK's training methods I think friendlies should not count at all for fan mood unless the two teams playing are compared or else it will hinder player developement.

I have after 2 years playing sokker financial problems because of my supporters. My sponsors give me less money cause my supporters are angry. I've done the last 2 Sundays 2 wins ( one was with a 7-0 score) and they gave (sponsors) 1k less :-/ this Sunday i lost. Do you know wht this means? Biger financial problems!
Sponsor cash should be set before the season starts and be for the full season
Totally agree.
If this was the case the change would be perfectly fine and it would not hurt and ruin that much.
I really hope that this will be implemented.

It won't change the fact that atm. the supporters are leaving for no good reason thought.
I'm so tired to explain again because I don't like this change! :/
But, I'm not happy.

I agree with loop. sponsor money should be readjusted seasonally. the supporters of this change always claims that this brings the system closer in line with reality. all right then, take one step further and eliminate week-to-week changes in sponsor income.
This is starting to remind me of something I read about computer games in general. For example, in City Of Heroes players exploited the architect system to power level. When this was taken away they complained like crazy even though they had started to complain as well that the game was boring as there was no challenge for them. It's the eternal problem of game development; people hate to be challenged and will complain about any 'balancing' but they hate it being too easy just as much. If the game devs aren't true to their own vision the game always ends up stagnating.
I'll be interested to see how the devs move forward with this mood update, what I would say to everyone complaining though is be careful what you wish for :)
