Subject: Any official explanation about downtimes ?

i've lost around 600000euros selling a player because the deadline coicided with the disconnection's time and there were no players able to bid for him...(and it is not for first time when i lose money((

sold for 75k and being relisted now caus he got him during downtime.. (sorry to post here but seems like admins are active here recently)

its why i posted here..they want links to players that didnt get deadlines extended..im assuming thats why he was so cheap..

The transfer didn't take place during downtimes, was even one hour later! ;-)
There were simply no potential buyers interested it seems.

Just checked it; there were no transfers between 20:24:49 and 21:30:27.
So at least the script seems to work ...

and the player deadline was: 2009-06-30 20:33:00


And i have one question, what would be done if the player was sold during the downtime?

cool! sorry for assuming both were bargains but they seemed to be :P
guess not caus of this recession. people are less willing to splash the cash on players it seems :P

I don't think this is really a fair assessment... because of the downtime a lot of frustrated users (like me) would have given up trying log in, after failing to for over an hour, and got on with other stuff like rl.
This is bound to have had a knock-on effect on transfer prices shortly after Sokker came back up.

yeah well in all fairness not much can be done about that.. i definately would have paid that for him at his age though to be honest so you do have a point...

The deadline was extended and the player was sold at 22:37:35, so more than one hour after you could log in again.

Partly agree with you.
On the other hand there are a lot of users who think the can make a bargain after the downtimes. Yesterday I was online at the time the downtime was over and after a few minutes the number of users online was almost as usual.
So I don't think the downtime affected this transfer.
