We need just one more team? We are likely to reach the 24 teams. According to the rules: "§ 3.1. The tournaments takes place if there are more than 12 participant teams."
So, I think we have reached this milestone and I am very happy about it :)
And then what Tsolias?

There isn't a final with 2 teams with 24 teams in your modus?
There is in each case a final with 2, 2 semifinals with 4 teams and 4 quartefinals with 8 teams. Above that, there are teams with walkover (pass to the next stage without game) - like described on the rules on §3.3, §3.4 and §3.5.
This is done so, in order to have at the quarterfinals 8 teams.
The teams with walkover will be listed, so they can organize how to play, or I can make an extra draw for them, so they have somebody to play with, on Friday.
Teams on waitinglist are not banned. They can be recalled (§ 3.2.) and replace the winnerteam in case of activating § 1.3. (both teams play with U21 = both suspended)
For me it is ideal if all of my sokkerfriends play and have fun in the tournament. I have sent less than 10 personal invitations so far. I´ll like and appreciate it if you and other users send invitations to your sokkerfriends for the U20 MWC too. The tournament can be a big fun - one way or the other, the worst thing that can happen to a team in this tournament is just one lost game (because of the knockout). :)

U20 Mini World CUp - F.A.Q. (Frequently Asked Questions)
What is an U20 Mini World Cup?
It is a tournament with knockout games between the U20 selections of countries who are not participating in the official World Cup.
Why should a team play with U20?
It is a way to prepare for the WC-qualification games of next season.
The U20 players raise by playing international games their experience (yes, it is a "hidden" skill).
The U21-managers (you!) can plan better what is next to do, in order to qualify next season for the WC.
My U20 team is very weak and I don´t want to loose all games. What can I do to avoid it?
The worst thing is just loosing one game. The games are knockout, so every team is out of the race after his first and only one loss. At this tournament all teams except the winner team will have one and only lost game.
By playing knockout games, do you think the best team wins the U20 MWC?
No and that´s exactly the intrigue :)
The teams will be drawn randomly; isn´t it unfair to play against a stronger club?
It is your big chance to beat a stronger team at this stage of U20, because their players are not fully trained.
What is the point of this tournament?

I have keeped free for the tournament weeks 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. What if my team is kicked out after the first game wouldn´t it be difficult to find a team to play with on the next week?
Half of the participating teams will be kicked out after the first game. These teams will be listed and you can choose one of them and decide if you play U21, U20, U19 or U18... (Or shall I make also a draw for the disqualified teams?)
What if more than 32 teams are registered?
The first 32 participate - the rest is on waiting list.
What if 30 teams are registered?
There should be 16 teams on the next round. So there will be 14 games with 28 teams and the rest 2 have walkover to the next round. (If they want, the 2 teams with the free pass to the next round, they can arrange to play together to prepare for the next round).
This model is for a figure of 24 to 31 participating countries.
What if 23 teams register?
In the case of 17 to 24 teams, the first 16 who registered are drawn and the rest is on waiting list, like described on §3.4 of the rules. This is done so, in order to have at the quarterfinals 8 teams.
What if more than 32 teams register?
In the case of 33 to 48 teams, we handle it like in the case of 17 to 24 teams. In the case of 49 to 64 teams, like in the case of 24 to 31 teams.
What if somebody don´t sends or refuses to receive an invitation for Fridays game?
Everything about it is written en detail on the rules.
