Not really, that's only part of the story. Mood is also crucial for attendance. If mood drops, less people come to your stadium. Morover, less people goes to your opponent's stadium when you play away.
You can claim that the fanbase of reaaaally big clubs do not increase any more, no matter what, but you can't claim that, when they are leading the championship, they play in half-empty stadiums. Specially if, as you say, they don't know in advance that you are fielding subs and expect to see all the stars in the field.

no theory comes without simplyfying assumptions, and this one feasible, for the reasons ive stated couple of posts ago...

changes was made too late unfortunately and some managers built huge stadiums...

this delay is the biggest failure of this system...

True, simplifying the real model is the base of every system, but when you assume way too much you end up with simplistic models that don´t fit the real system that are trying to model.

Assuming that the fans always wants to see the starting 11, is contradictory in many points compared to reality, an assumption that at one point is hurting the overall system that it is actually pretty accurate.

suporters wnats to see result similar or higher to avarage result between teams like yours and your opponent, including B-squads.

if you get worse results they going upset.

Mmmm... but very few people has huge stadiums, most "top teams" are in the range 40k-60k.

Anyway, I never thought about it, but if you tell me that stadiums/attendance can't grow that much, that's really bad news for me, becasue I always encourage income related to achievements (you win, you gett attendance, you get money) than to becoming a player factory in the 5th divisions, with tons of millions and zero gold trophies :P
