but I think I need a slogan... it could be something like:

You live in a country that IS soccer, so 'SOCCER = SOKKER.ORG' should be enough ;P

Btw, it's Sokker.org ... ;D

Or indeed something like 'Beautiful women and soccer, all on Sokker.org', must be a good combination to attract men :P

Or some serious slogans, like 'Be the best soccer manager of the world on Sokker.org' or 'Do you know football, play Sokker.org'.

right now I´m living in the Canary Islands (Spain). People here are interested in beach sports and gyms more than in soccer, believe me :S


I think the slogan seriously needs the women element to get their atention :P

As far as I know, then you do not have to own an account here to access that topic. :)

Indeed, apart from the league forums pretty much every topic can be accessed without being logged in. But perhaps greg can substitute the silly player faces with some pics from that topic :D

I can't believe you guys are still talking about promoting sokker.. haven't you learned from the past? We've done that already.. it didn't help. Belgium had more then 3000 users at some point.. Now we have about 850 left..

We tried attracting more people already.. we even mailed the new users, welcomed them to sokker and provided them with a 'mentor' if they wanted.. (mentor: someone to help them with any newb questions)

Still they left..

Spamming HT again won't help.. if you want to attract more people the first thing that should happen is a more attractive layout of the site because let's be honest here.. it's f.. ugly.

So what is the solution to let more people know about Sokker? Promotion is the only way.

Moaning about all things that can't be done or won't work is easy but no solution. And ever thought about it that without good promotion Belgium maybe had less then the number of managers left as they have now? You look at it from only 1 point, and ofcourse the negative point as many others in this topic constantly do ....

the solution is greg, he must do something.

2 days ago, sokker had its 8th anniversary (10 of february).
8 years seem to be a lot, the game should have passed already a couple of hundred thousands users...

He does, we have new improvements, it only often takes to long before they are introduced. Many already suggested to ask for help if it's to much work for the small group if DEVs, but that is his call.

And maybe Sokker isn't the game that will ever have a couple of hundred thousand managers, I don't know. But at the moment every new managers is 1 more :)

And we aren't greg, we can only do what we can and that is mainly promotion. Without that we know for sure many won't get to know Sokker at all.
