Subject: Is Sokker dying?
Wrong man.It come back if you change some things.Remember that
Undone changes to ME:
2008-12-06 16:24:57
Changes to animations (not ME):
2008-07-25 12:08:24
Last (more or less) relevant changes to ME:
2008-01-30 21:42:28
Mostly because of "running passes" correction, which was largely needed.
That is 21 month ago, so if he's two years old in the fame, he only had 3 month of "old" ME. I'm not surprised if he doesn't remember it :P
Previous improvements of ME were spaced by 2 to 5 months, as far as I searched (that's 1 to 3 seasons).

honestly, what for me is a big problem is that 8 teams are in the same division, it should be more, like 12 or 14 because it's more motivating to start in the third or fifth division rather than 8th or 7th division in poland, so that new people know that's it's a very difficult road and they don't have enough time of it.... if they change it to 14 would be cool, but i think this is really imposible to do.... sokker ecuador is not dead but it has stop growing, we get new users but most of them go, i think we're growing but in a super slow pace
Don't quit. I'd like to see your avatar forever :P
Lol...and what would be the aim of that?
Guys don`t worry, sokker is getting better and new improvements will also come.

sorry, I didn't read everything here, maybe I'm only repeating other posts...
please don't forget that the last big 2 improvements planed by the devs didn't work like expected:
- the change between 2 tactics during the match
- the combination passes
afaik the devs have invested a lot of time here, and were busy ~ one more season with these annoying botnet attacks. I can understand that this was a bit frustrating for them, but I'm 100% sure they still will develop some new improvements. I think we will get something like a championsleague someday (not soon though), and hopefully some other features before. Atm it just needs some patience imho.

Is this game dying?
Yes, because.. 38% (144)
No, because.. 35% (134)
Show me the results 28% (106)
Shouldn't he be informed of what the managers think of the game?
If I were a creator, I would find it very disturbing that 38% of my public thinks that my game is dying. And it's not that the other 62% thinks the opposite. It's only 35% that believe that Sokker still has a future. 28% don't know, don't want to know or haven't made up their mind.
Furthermore there is another disturbing fact about these figures. People who have voted here (sokker international) are generally managers who are still quite active or involved with the game.

There are dangers that the game is at least stagnating which is a real shame. Compared to similar online games Sokker has the advantage of being complex and having a live game to watch.
Many of the problems, it seems to me, stem from an apathy in the membership itself. I also player Battrick (an online cricket game), so I can judge differences in member-participation in the two games. They have many more friendly discusions, have created their own websites dedicated to the game and seem to be always ready to give their own time to the membership community.
Perhaps it is the very complexity of Sokker that stands in its way (it took me a few seasons to find my way around the site!), once players are relaxed that they understand the game, they are often already losing interest!?
So perhaps we should ask ourselves if we can't do more to strengthen the game - a campaign to bring in a new member each would be a great start. One of the greatest dangers we are now facing is a stagnating membership!

Don`t think he already knows that?
Even mods complain every now and then and we have a thread 21 pages long about fan mood complaints, where Greg has almost "satisfied" everyone of them with good explanations, why mood is that low etc..
