i have opera mini 4 which already set in my handphone.

i dont know if opera mini suports user JS. I doubt it.

I think only Nokia phones use symbian system.. but I am not sure :)

I think it's a good idea. Users of older versions of Opera may use current version of script. It shouldn't be a problem i think? Even if You create new, Opera 11 compatible version, the older one can remain for download at Your site, right?

new opera 11 supports addons(like greasemonkey in FF)

Sure, the older version will remain avalable to download, but will not be maintained.
