This is more important than it seems. Currently, there's no unique place to get notified about everything that happens. If you are looking for a friendly, you may start challenging people without noticing you already have a good enough challenge awaiting. PLayers go in and out of NTs without notice, etc.
Of course, you do get all the information if you browse practically every single page, but this is more user-friendly - something constantly asked to the devs.
I think it will also improve our taste from existing features. For instance, NT notifications may make you involve more with NTs using your players (and people who only care about their own players will know now when to watch a NT match :P).
Let's see how it works...


PS: Of course, if you can select which things to be notified about, it just can't be better :P
