dont you think its up to every user how they will behave? and anti-sokker behaviour doesn't mean bad behaviour, its opinion and everyone has to have right on it!!! and this is where everythink starts here!!!

As a staff member some kind of behaviour can be expected as they represent Sokker, that star gives some responsibility towards other managers but also the DEVs. And ofcourse this doesn't mean staff members have to agree with the DEVs, absolutely not, everyone can always have their own opinion and that's also needed as other/new ideas and feedback (given in a normal words) mean more input for the DEVs. I often have discussions with greg about things that should be different, on many things he and I disagree, and I can tell him this without loosing my star.

And how many times have I asked everyone in this topic to please post bugs and problems in the topic [BUG] ME Errors of the Forum Bugs / Ideas (en)? So again: post match link + minutes the bug(s)/problem(s) happened in this topic so it can be used. I never told anyone to agree with me. I only ask for useful info so it can be showed to the DEVs. Manager l-zsolt already showed greg the summary of the first post of this topic. That's the only thing to get things to be changed, only complaining won't help, we need prove of the problems.

Oh ! I forgot, you put data about new managers who even did not know how was the previous ME, thus totally ridiculous to compare this to the problem evoked by managers here.

This is my point of view :

Changes just always mean a group of people start to rave blindly face to Dev's developpements, while other just try to identify the real problems that finally things have changed so Sokker can decrease again

Just wait and see few weeks to see how many users will stay in SK...

As long as more new managers sign up as leaving, Sokker will grow again.
2012-07-03 16:46:48
Seriously? I hope that you're joking...

check how many of these who signed up in last weeks actually does log in more than twice. With such attitude at the end of the season we might have 55-60k users, but after the bot etc. deletion by admins we will be back to 40-45k...
2012-07-03 16:47:29
And he even not jokes at all...

I guess that Charles doesn't understand that money doesn't come from thousands that register and log once and then leave the game, but from the hundreads who stay here for years and buy plus regularly...oh well :-)
2012-07-03 16:50:12
I guess too... And greg also... does'nt understand that...

finally things have changed so Sokker can decrease again

Well, I don't like to continue this negative discussion. I can show you data of a huge manager drop with the old ME, but probably you will find an answer to this also :/

check how many of these who signed up in last weeks actually does log in more than twice.

That's a completely different problem, which is a problem for many seasons now, and has absolutely nothing to do with the ME.

This problem should be solved also and manager Marts came with an idea I totally support, an in-game tutorial, see half way page 1 of topic [IDEA] Re-invitation campaign from Forum Bugs / Ideas (en).

EDIT: I guess that Charles doesn't understand .... plus regularly...oh well :-)

And I know pretty well how business works, I've studied business management, HBO level (HBO = Academy of Professional Higher Education).

Guys, is not our problem nor our concern if they want to do this or that to get new users. As I see it, the 3D is the hook for getting new users. And if the ME doesn't work properly, it will be the reason why most of them will leave.

However... our concern is on the ME and how it influence us managers who have been around for a long time. So lets focus on that.

I don't really care wether we are 50k, 70k or just 10k users. I care about having a good ME to be able to work with and active users around the globe.

They will have to figure out if their strategies worked to get new users to actually be in the game on a long term basis and earn some money of them "possibly" buying plus.

Lets focus our energy and time into just identifying the problems of the ME to "hopefully" get them to fix them.

and greg doesnt too, that i told him, but ignored me.

That just makes no sense to me. Why wouldn't Greg want to focus on the users that buy plus and the "why" they buy it. And thus figure out how to get new users that will actually stay in the long term and buy plus as well.
2012-07-03 17:23:56
as you said, the 3D is a hook to get new users but if they realized later that the ME is a crap, who of this new users will stay in the game as long as they can buy a plus?
2012-07-03 17:24:36
dont know the answer, but this is the fact now:(

this is not an acceptable solution, this means a reinvention of the game after almost 10 years???? for this propouse maybe greg should created another game with another name with this ME and he avoid to destroyed this one
2012-07-03 17:47:32
this is not a ... destroyed this one

Don't know why it's a reinvention of the game. It's just to get new managers started and explain them how things in Sokker need to be done. And also gives these new managers something to do when they sign up the first time without destroying their money because they just do something like building roofed stadiums in stead of waiting till they have full access and spend their money on good players and coaches.

I think more managers will login again if they get to do this, at least more as the number of managers at the moment.

This is my idea of an in-game tutorial:

● A manager diploma/certificates could be introduced in stead of the weak tutorial that is send to new managers at the moment and the complex rules almost no one reads. This could be done like this: When new managers login the first time they access some shadow team, but with their own teamname. They get some assignments to do so they get certificates and earn some money with these assignments, for example 1 000 € for each completed assignment. And when an assigmented is completed they also get a certificate. When they have all certificates, they get their manager diploma (and know what to do on Sokker also). Some of the assignments could be: fire one of your players, put one of your players on the transferlist, buy one new player of the transferlist, fire one of your coaches, start a new tactic, move a player in your new tactic and save this, choose your new tactic in matchorders and save, make a line-up and save, add a new forum to your forumlist, search a topic in a forum, etc etc.
