And again... there might have been an ME issue there too... its hard to determine if it was ME error or a tactic flaw in this case. Im sure the ME needs more tuning still and that other teams will show up with some clear problems.

But in this case. I do think you chose a bad tactic and that you had some bad luck as well.

Well maybe, like I said, I may just have too high expectations for the influence of the skill level divine in the ME. For instance it hurts to see this opponent defender Uwe Hendske, age: 38 tackle Humble twice from behind. Seriously?!? I am also expecting to see a bigger difference in performance between 35 yo Bierman and Yarburg on the midfield than what I'm experiencing atm. And there were several other events where I just had the feeling that I were not getting enough value for my (salary) money, like stupid dribbles and slowing down (again that Hendske guy managed to overrun Humble because he slowed down after a dribble), and passing to the other striker, who is covered, when there is no def in between the one having the ball and the goal.

There are definetely also good things to see in the new ME, and of course you are right, my match had shiny moments too. But the skill level equalizer thingie above just annoys me. I just don't want to see my stars stupified, or equipped with deep sea diving boots, because they face weaker opponents on the field. Has the equalizer formula hattrickified skill levels? Will the best skill level to aim for in future be 14-15 - in terms of cost (training+salary+price) vs benefit? :)

Im certainly not one to be able to answer the last question you said. If we could all have a detail graph of what scoring % each level will get, than maybe you could apply that to see what is the best scoring % per money spent on a certain skill level...

anyway... I think.. objetively speaking, so far... the ME works better than last week. Still many more people need to see their games to really find out.

But I personally enjoyed your game man.

Can you tell me in what minute was that "stupid dribble" and "slowing down"? Just remind me to double check it.

I do think that there is still a bug in regard to kicking the ball forward to breakaway and then having the player slow down instead of speed up. And they didnt mention it in the recent changes.

And also... remember that you played in a HORRIBLE pitch.... so that will certainly have some % of influence.

Sorry.. but failed in what regards?? Did a bad corner kick out of play? Did not head the ball... what?

this making me angry the most... how a pretty nice player... like Carrick from Man United let's say (not a world class, but really strong one) can miss two corners in a very stuopid way... he shots the ball and it goes out at 2-3 meters from the corner point...

Now THAT I agree with man. Totally. It "could" have been a bad luck game that just today he had a bad corner kick game... but maybe not.

But it would be good to report that... and if to many more users this is happening, I dont doubt they will look on it.

The good thing, is that at least is an aspect of the ME that was not discussed this past two weeks. So it was not part of the latest changes.

Please... reply to this post with that detail... giving the URL of the game and the exact minute of where the player missed kicked both corner kicks so that the Staff members can take a look at it.

And as I said.. the more people identify the same problem, the more likely they will discuss it to correct it.

My very good midfielder keeps miss kicking the corner kicks way too often.

Ok, I thought I will be finally happy with engine, but todays match made me angry against...

I had chances my striker vs. their GK and it didnt end as goal.... and those situations are really funny:

It is striker with briliant pace and in incredible form... If you take a look, that defender is running against him, so defender has to stop and turn himself, while my striker should be behind him and he should have a chance against GK...

I hate matches, when you are wining 1:0 and in 88th and 89th minute you will get 2 goals from a lucky situations and you will lost...

new engine seems more logic, overall defenders behavior. anyway we have to see more matches...
