Any thoughts on that height feature? At first glance it sounds like defenders would be better off being tall whereas midfielder should be really really short...and attackers could be both depending on your strategy...
And what about the defenders not losing the ball as much anymore..does that mean technique is now worthless for defenders?

What you wrote about height makes perfect sense.
About defenders.. they will need all of the skills, because they will be able to take the ball into opposition half and pass it to one of the midfielders. This seems like something that could be influenced via tactics editing.

to me it looks like people will benefit form having defs with mid skils ad they will now get more involved in play building. great change imho.
Mostly great stuff, I'm totally against introducing height though. It's difficult enough for the smaller nations to find decent defenders without having to filter out the shortarses.
Junior matches are irrelevant imho,
the 50% is also not adding that much to the game itself, but is adding to NT players which haven't played that week in their teams.
About Hight, we have to wait and see how it will impact the matches.
Defender's decision is great addition imo.

Could someone explain this sentence:
Juniors play based on their current hidden skills, which level the play at is related with how well their total skill is visible on your junior’s page.
Problem is that it is not clear enough.
Thanks

Look Finland vs NZ yesterday. 90% of head balls were won by finns. I like the height thing even if my defenders turn out to be punch of midgets.

It just means that an "outstanding" youth will play better than a "poor" youth for example
They will also use their skills, pm, defender etc but we wont know what those skills are as they are hidden.

Thank you, that was clear from start. : )
My doubts are how we will be able to follow their progress, because we know that their skills are set when we click on that Contract link. How will this function?
Every Thursday juniors will progress due to their talent and coach's general skill. How will this be visible in matches, i.e. their hidden skills? Is there going to be some kind of improvement in their performance? Will they get some extra value to their skills, related to their improvement in general skill? Or their skills are predestined?

Ah, sorry. I see what you mean.
To answer....I don't know :)

My guess:
If you will also set the tactics for the Junior team, then you will have to watch matches and try to guess which one of your players is a def/mid/att and place them in their right place on the pitch...
which is quite lilke the oHTer game which i quited for this reason :P

But... when a player is weak 33 he could be def in the beginning and att in the end, because you do not now how the skillraising every training is be done. I like the idea of youth games, but if the game has no effect on training you only can get some info in the last weeks of that player.
The problem is like Majti says though.
We know that juniors skills are not created untill we press the "contract " button so how can the junior players use defense skill for example?

Maybe the skills ARE created before, but not visible to us...
Anyway, i see no point in setting a tactic as the results aren't important in those matches...
i prefer just seeing what becomes of a player in the end of their staying in school.
