Maybe the skills ARE created before, but not visible to us...

Anyway, i see no point in setting a tactic as the results aren't important in those matches...
i prefer just seeing what becomes of a player in the end of their staying in school.

obviously, if it was true skills are generated at the time of pull, it is no longer true

Thanks

Hmm...I wonder if it would be anything like this:
1) Player A enters your YS
2) Starting skills are being generated for him
3) I play him as an ATT in my YS matches and his ATT skills develope the most, MID and DEF skills go up less rapidly
4) Considering he has a high YS skill and he played poorly as an ATT he'll play as a DEF next week. Next week his DEF skills will develope the most, ATT and MID skills go up less rapidly.
5) He performed weak as a DEF(high YS skill) the next week he plays as a GK. He'll receive mostly GK training and less of the skills needed for other positions.
6) He played well as a GK and as he's got a decent YS skill+talent(as it's been before the update) I'm going to get a high level GK ;)

I doubt that you will be able to influence their development.

Well then...I can't see any rational outcome for this update...

3)-6) will not be true (since you could only do that for 11 players).

well if the skills are generated when the youth comes to your youth school, you play him as a def and he plays weak, han as a mid and if he plays better as a mid. than you would know that this guy will be a mid in future and at least you will knwo what you will get in future. and the position the youth plays should not influence the training

True

perhaps there's kind of training should be implemented to

like if your player play as DEF his DEF skill will improve
or they just develop like usual

so i also wonder what the purpose of playing them in a match for their development ?

well i don't need that all i consider in youth is now the talent, no matter he's good at defender, midfield, forward or as GK

All new changes looks quite good.

But if we can see our Youths playing, wouldn't it be perfectly logical that we know how old are they even before pulling them?
2009-11-29 12:59:53
you will know.
2009-11-29 13:00:55
isn't it better so we can keep the younger and throw away all 19-20 possibility when they pulled ;)
if we look for young and potential for NT
