I noticed the increased effect of tactical discipline on player positioning

you can say that again, players went crazy in positions :(
2009-12-19 18:14:20
yeah, it looked a little bizarre. like me back in high school ;)
2009-12-19 18:19:10
no way, I was in high school football team, and we were much more organized :))

Did anyone notice any blocking of strikers?

You can see some matches with 4-3-3 and offensive winger defenders...;)
2009-12-19 18:27:50
where?
2009-12-19 19:13:35
my tactics ;)

yeah - ok i havent watched your game but i nearly did. I saw that it was cup round 1. Mate - no offence here - but you really cant take anything from a game against an utterly weak opponent. You could have played that tactic last season with the same effect against the same opposition imo. The games for me are going to be league games against similar opponents and the nt/u21 games. I have noticed a few things but NOT what the ME announcements were.

Yes, you have a reason. But, I had much performance in friendlies and cup matches with teams more better than me. To play with this tactic, you need wing defenders: stamina and pace more high. I´m trying it this season...:)

i will watch to see the outcome

My tiny strikers won approximately all their headers against the giants of my opponent. I did notice that they always ran in front of the defender (making the header easier to win?). logic?

the interesting point for me is that the winger is delivering the ball in that area. I am really starting to believe that wingers are even MORE important now with this new ME which is a total mare. 1 dimensional tactics - wing wing wing wing and you win
2009-12-20 17:22:22
thought the same and look, i lost with my wing :p
2009-12-20 17:25:55
I do have rather good wingers, so their passing didn't surprise me ;)

On the other hand, in langhe's match, all one-on-one's were goals and the winger (who isn't chickenshit either) couldn't deliver one decent pass
2009-12-20 20:08:49
interesting - langhe's winger is over 181cm
and yours are 177 and 170cm. Hmmmm - *goes to check height of my wingers for tonight ;)

ok mine is 177 and then i am swapping him in the second half with a 187 i think it was so if its height related it will be visible.
